Polita ignored him, stretched her long legs, and headed upstairs.

"Hey, Diane."

The woman completely ignored him.

Conveniently, his phone rang. It was soone from the airport. He turned around to answer the call.

Polita paused mid-step and turned around just in ti to watch him busy with his work call. Her beautiful face darkened instantly.

She snorted lightly and headed upstairs.

Chloe Collins happened to be coming out of the room and was embraced fullheartedly by Polita as soon as she stepped out.

"Honey, I’m here."

With a ’muah’, she kissed Chloe Collins’ cheek.

Chloe Collins raised her brow, "What are you here for?"

"Of course to help you," she still had her hands around Chloe’s neck, pressing her voluptuous body against Chloe.

Such a sight could easily make a man’s nose bleed.

She is truly bewitching.

It was a surprise to Chloe that even Heijii was smitten by her.

"I heard that since you two got together, you don’t even look at other handso n anymore?"

Polita pouted, "Regrets, I have so many. For one tree, an even crooked one at that, I’ve given up the whole forest. Isn’t that a great loss?"

Chloe jested, "Not married yet, if you regret, you can just break up."

Polita pouted, fell into silence for a mont, her expression delicate, "It’s too late," she said.

Her words carried a deeper aning.

Chloe’s gaze slowly shifted downwards, noting her attire.

Although overall still the sa coquettish style, her shoes were flats and not heels, her makeup was lighter, and even her hair was black without any dyeing.

"You, are you pregnant?"

Polita blushed rarely, nodded and gently placed her finger on her lips as she whispered, "Shh, the fool still doesn’t know. Don’t tell him yet."

"Fool? The child isn’t his?"

"Go away, stop teasing ." She laughed, patting her belly happily, "Sis, I think I’m settling down for good. No more ssing around after this."

After saying this, she got more serious, and asked Chloe, "Boss, sis is begging you for a favor. A child needs to grow up with his father’s company. Can you arrange a more peaceful job for Chad Lowell?"

"Oh~ that’s why you’re here to see ."

"Not only that, this is just incidental. I truly ca to help."

Chloe Collins smiled, did not say much, but directly made an ’OK’ gesture.

Even if Polita hadn’t ntioned it, she would have done it anyway.

But she is used to having Heijii as her assistant, if she were to change now, it might actually take so ti getting used to.

Rather than calling Heijii an assistant, he is more like her confidant. Many things didn’t even need her directive, he would know what to do.

"I’m thinking of letting him take over LM and have him focus on managing LM’s affairs in the future," she suddenly voiced out.

Polita was taken aback, "That won’t do, that’s your life’s work."

Chloe Collins replied with a gentle laugh, "Exactly because it’s my life’s work that it would be more aningful. Consider it as a wedding gift for you two."

"We, we’re not getting married anyti soon. This really won’t do, it’s too precious."

"Heijii knows the company better than I do, and he has made more effort. He deserves it."

"Boss, what are you two talking about?" Heijii approached them with a smile.

Both of them turned their heads to look at him.

Diane said seriously, "Boss says she wants to give LM to you."

"What?" Heijii’s smile froze, imdiately turning stern, "That won’t do."

Chloe Collins languidly flicked a glance at Diane’s stomach and said, "It’s not up to you, it’s not a gift for nothing. Once the child is born, I will be his godmother."

"Child?" Heijii was stunned.

Chloe Collins smiled faintly and walked away. Soon after, the sounds of cheers filled the room.
