Chapter 1436
She thought about the sickness he had ntioned.
There were two of him.
If this was true, the person that just appeared, would it not be her senior?
He had said before, the reason for his absences over the years was to suppress the other him inside his body, purposefully avoiding her. Would it be the sa this ti?
The sudden shouting interrupted her thoughts, among them was Layla Lowell’s voice.
She quickly headed over in that direction.
A crowd of people were gathered at the ladies’ washroom door. A few of them purposefully "moved aside" as she approached, making way for her to walk through.
As she appeared, many in the crowd recognized her.
"Wow, it’s Chloe Collins!"
"It’s really her in the flesh! Even more beautiful in person! I want to take a picture, snap a shot for , snap a shot for !"
"True to the Empress’s aura, so serene and distinguished, just standing there she exudes a strong aura!"
As a result of her appearance, the focus of the incident swiftly shifted, those who were previously in the center of the argunt stopped their fight.
Layla Lowell and a short-haired woman were gasping for breath, glaring at each other, having finally released each other’s hair.
"What’s going on?"
Layla Lowell gritted her teeth and said, "These four won are outright hooligan bullies. I just went to use the washroom. No sooner had I co out, I saw them picking on Wanda Wesley and calling her... calling her retarded. I was so furious, I beat them up."
The short-haired woman scoffed, "She’s retarded. Everyone in Orlando knows that!"
"Exactly! We were just curious to see if she was as stupid as the rumors suggested. We joked around with her a bit and touched her. What’s the big deal? She’s been going around harassing people all the ti. All we did was slap her a couple of tis. One could argue it’d be no big deal even if we beat a ntal patient to death. It’d be doing society a favor."
"Good heavens! Are you trying to punch down ?>> Look over here, everyone! Chloe Collins is bullying common people! What an outrage!"
The four won chattered on and on, their eyes filled with arrogant hooliganism.
Layla Lowell was furious, she rolled up her sleeves, ready to let her fists do the talking.
Chloe Collins blocked her, glanced at Wanda Wesley who had kept quiet all this ti, and said to her, "Keep an eye on Wanda Wesley."
Having said that, her gaze swept towards the four won bullies.
A blue-haired woman was still filming her with a phone. As she fild, she said, "Everybody look! This is the famous Chloe Collins; we were having lunch in this shop when she intentionally started the fight and connived with her friend to attack soone. Judge it for yourself!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a cracking sound was heard. People were confused, then, the very next second, the phone slowly disintegrated under Chloe Collins’ gaze, turning into fragnts and crashed to the floor.
"Ahh... what... what the hell is that!" The blue-haired woman retreated in horror.
"What kind of phone is that? It can break itself!"
"I... I don’t know..."
The blue-haired woman was left speechless.
The short-haired woman looked annoyed. She pulled the blue-haired woman aside, faced Chloe Collins, and said, "We don’t want to pursue this matter anymore. How about this, we settle privately. We all suffered extre ntal and physical trauma, you must compensate us!"
"Yes, we demand compensation for emotional distress!"
"I’ll give you your freaking compensation!" Layla Lowell retorted angrily, her temper flaring up, ready to confront them again.
Even though she’s a mother now, her temper is still explosive.
"If you want compensation for emotional distress, fine. Let’s make sure we get everything straight first. Once everything’s clear, if it’s our responsibility, I will take full responsibility."
