Chapter 1385
He chuckled, saying, "I still rember, you hiding behind the tree trunk, raising a finger at to keep silent, and in the next second, you killed two starved wolves,"
At the ti, I was thinking, this ’Eleven’ is no ordinary girl, she was so young, yet able to kill two wolves, when other girls were busy playing with dolls and eating cakes, she could remain undaunted and kill two wolves."
Chloe Collins reminisced about that past.
It was a long-forgotten past that happened on a mountain not far from Harville Temple.
The mountain was called the Mountain of Spirits, a towering mountain with mysterious legends. They weren’t holy legends, rather dark and eerie tales of the mortal world. Therefore, the older generation would scare their children with it, threatening to send them to that mountain to be offerings for the Mountain Ghost if they misbehaved.
When she was six years old and arrived at the Harville Temple, between the ages of six to ten, she had been scared a few tis by the people living around the temple, all because she was too mischievous back then, always attempting to snatch their chickens and ducks, hence she was intimidated this way.
The curiosity of a child is always strong. The more she was scared, the more curious she beca, especially when she found the days boring and often sought so fun. So, one day, she snuck away and climbed that mountain.
The mountain was steep and challenging to climb, filled with many snakes and insects. The first ti she went, a snake bit her ankle; thankfully it wasn’t poisonous. So, she imdiately decided to return, got herself ard, and went for the second ti.
This ti, she discovered sothing new.
At that ti, she accidentally slipped down the slope and found a secret path leading to an incredibly thrilling arena. It was like a live-action version of a hunting ga, full of exciting and dangerous hurdles.
Back then, she thought it was an amusent park under testing, so she ard herself and sneaked in for enjoynt.
She disguised herself as a little monster and mingled in with those "players".
That way, she could ’fight monsters’ without worrying about being marked as an enemy by the ’monsters’.
Those players wore protective masks, armored clothes, and full gear, extrely professional; which was so exciting for her, she quietly followed along and completed tasks with them.
Only after a week did she realize that it wasn’t an amusent park—but a devilish training camp.
So adults had set up these unique checkpoints to train their descendants and enhance their combat abilities. Occasionally, they would even send ancient martial arts teachers to impart martial skills.
After discovering this, she didn’t rush to flee but lurked secretly, studying alongside those two brothers for a while.
She later ca to their rescue during a particularly difficult training session.
One can say that they were able to pass all levels because of her.
She secretly cleared many obstacles for them, acted as their spy, and provided them with information.
Back then, she thought it was extrely fun and didn’t think about much else.
She didn’t rember having any deep conversation with them, let alone having seen their faces.
After playing there for more than two months, she was finally discovered by Master Matsu, who forbade her from going again. A long, long ti later when she visited the place again, it was deserted.
Milton White quietly stared at her, knowing that she had rembered that past.
In his mind, the mories that had been circling him for years and refused to fade kept appearing.
A ten-year-old girl saw the sixteen-year-old Alexander Foster as a trustworthy big brother and followed him like a little sidekick.
