Jas Cunningham did not elaborate on the details of the operation but briefly ntioned that it was related to the test subjects.
Eventually, the mysterious organization’s experint went wrong, causing a disturbance that attracted quite a sensation and was currently suppressed by the state.
The incident occurred in a small neighboring country of Goldasia. Presently, various rumors were spreading among the locals. The most exaggerated one said that zombies appeared, attacking and infecting anyone they encountered.
In reality, those people were just escaped experint subjects venting their pain through violence, thereby causing the unrest.
After learning that this incident was related to the previous BDR experint, Grearon decided to investigate it. A special operation was set up, assigning a small team, including themselves, to infiltrate the enemy camp to conduct a detailed investigation.
After learning of their proposal, Chloe Collins responded with a casual smile, "Sorry, I’m not interested in your invite."
Jas said, "Miss Collins, you’re allowed to propose conditions. You’re highly skilled, wouldn’t it be a pity if you couldn’t serve your country?"
Chloe smiled, leaning back casually, "I have no conditions. I’m simply not interested. You can leave now."
A woman among the group spoke up, "Miss Collins, don’t reject us hastily. We may co again in a couple of days. Please think it over carefully."
Another man added, "We understand that you don’t lack money. But figure out what exactly you need from another perspective. The higher-ups might be able to satisfy your requirents."
Chloe lazily responded as if she had regained interest, "What do I need? Let think."
After pondering for a while, she shrugged slightly, "Sorry, I can’t think of anything. You may leave now."
"Miss Collins, you should think carefully. Given your situation, the relevant departnts can apply to study you. If so scientists take an interest in you and want to conduct research, we won’t be able to protect you."
Chloe laughed, ignoring their attempt to threaten her. "Are you trying to intimidate ?"
Jas signaled his female companion to stop speaking.
Then, he addressed Chloe, "We considered this for a long ti before we made this decision. We hope you can lend us a hand. If not, you can recomnd others. As long as they possess unique abilities like you, we will welco them."
"I’ll go." A voice suddenly ca in as the door swung open.
Everyone turned around and saw a petite girl standing in the doorway, looking frail, the kind that brings out the protective nature in boys.
Chloe squinted her eyes. She had sensed Wanda Wesley’s arrival earlier, and that was why she made her stance clear sternly.
Jas only knew limited information about her. He knew so basics, but not much.
"You’re Wanda Wesley, one of her lab mbers," he paused.
Chloe looked deeply at Jas. As she expected, these people had conducted thorough research.
Wanda Wesley approached them, "Yes."
"Do you have any special abilities?" the woman asked.
Wanda thought for a mont and remained silent. She then casually lifted a chair single-handedly as if it were light as a bag.
The three of them observed her with surprised looks on their faces.
"Besides this, do you have any other abilities?" Suppressing his excitent, Jas asked.
