Chapter 1305

A second later, the light dimd, leaving only a soft white light in Liam Locke’s area that hadn’t been turned off.

There were no windows around. As soon as the lights dulled, she beca completely hidden in the darkness.

Still not feeling reassured, she saw so books on the table and quickly picked one up to cover her face.

Her intention was to avoid a repeat of last ti’s incident.

If Liam Locke were to run out this ti, she wouldn’t be able to chase after him.

And if sothing happened, they would bla her again.

With these thoughts, she placed the book over her face.

Liam Locke squinted and looked over, only seeing a blurred figure of a girl with long hair sitting on a chair, reading a book.

His overall alertness dropped, and a faint smile hung on his face.

"I’m going to start now, continuing where we left off last ti."

Manie York frowned, what?

Why does Liam Locke seem normal today?

She slowly removed the book, revealing her eyes to sneak a peek.

Liam Locke had his back to her, holding a marker and writing formulas on the whiteboard, and a book in his hand.

She had seen such kind of books before. They were extrely complex and difficult to understand, so she gave up after a short while.

Could Liam Locke now explain it in the simplest terms?

She was doubtful and suspicious, but slowly, she began to get absorbed.

Ten minutes later, her opinion of Liam Locke completely changed.

She had always thought that he was a sheltered flower raised by the royal family, arrogant yet incompetent, but now she found there was so much to understand about him.

His understanding of chanical engineering theories was even deeper than hers, and his explanations were clearer than the professors at her school.

Most importantly, it seed like the flying robot was his work.

Thinking about this, she realized too late that the house was filled with technological devices, more advanced than their laboratory.

Could they all be his masterpieces?

While she was curious, she suddenly noticed sothing on a shelf. The light was dim, and she could only see outlines, but she could tell they were trophies and certificates, filling an entire shelf like certificates she had seen in her childhood.

Those were indeed his works.

Manie York raised an eyebrow, surprised.

She lowered the book even more, curiously watching Liam Locke.

At this mont, Liam Locke was calm, wise, clever, and serious, seeming to be cloaked with a layer of divine white light.

Resting her chin in her hand, she quietly watched him and listened to his explanation.

About ten minutes later.

"That’s about it. We’ll do so hands-on practice later, which will make it easier for you to understand."

He picked up the marker cap, covered the marker, and set it aside.

Manie York was rapt with attention as Liam Locke’s explanations were remarkably relevant to her research.

Upon hearing about hands-on practice, she nodded subconsciously, saying, "Sure."

Her response hung in the air, creating a tense atmosphere.

Liam Locke visibly stiffened, his red eyes widened, and he stared unblinkingly at her.

Manie York instantly realized what had happened and hurriedly explained, "I... I didn’t an to intrude. I don’t know why I’m here. Please don’t be angry, I’ll leave imdiately!"

Liam Locke was pale, his hands visibly shaking, staring at her in silence.
