"Chapter 1264

A rocking chair was placed on the terrace, large enough to fit two people.

He held her as they watched the rain in silence. He gently ran his hand through her soft hair, kissing her forehead from ti to ti.

Chloe Collins gazed at the curtain of rain lost in thought.

She had been quite bored. Her laboratory work winded down, her studies had long since ended, and she even handed over her company. With nothing left to bother her, life seed dull.

Fortunately, she still had Alexander and his company.

He could be with her 24/7. It was really very good.

However, she would spend most of the ti sleeping and couldn’t respond to him.

She didn’t want to sleep, but her body demanded it, and she was powerless to resist.

When she woke up again, the rain had already stopped. She was sleeping on the couch, covered with a thin quilt, feeling a bit warm.

She felt much better. She put on her shoes and went outside.

The air was filled with the aroma of food - dinner ti was approaching.

She walked into the kitchen and indeed found Alexander. He was cooking, doing it himself.

She walked over, pressing her face against his back, hugging him.

"Slls good."

Alexander smiled, softly saying, "It’ll be ready in about ten minutes."

"But I’m hungry now."

"Greedy," Alexander lightly chided, but picked a piece of at, blew on it, and fed it to her.

Chloe Collins gulped it down. It was soft and sticky, fat but not greasy, flavorful and delicious.

"More." She wrapped her arms around his waist, looking up waiting to be fed.

A tender smile floated in Alexander’s eyes, filled with love and understanding, but it suddenly froze.

Chloe Collins slowly blinked, only to feel sothing flowing from her nose.

She lowered her head. A sar of blood stained Alexander’s shirt.

Nosebleed again.

The weakness in her body was also getting worse.

That night, she didn’t eat much. What she did eat, she quickly threw up. Her ti was spent in a hospital thereafter.

Their wedding day was bustling, with many friends and family coming to offer their blessings.

Draped in a white gown, she looked pure as snow, sitting quietly in the room waiting for her beloved to co fetch her.

After fun with the bridesmaids and groomsn, the door finally opened. Alexander, dressed in a white wedding suit, looked handso without peer. Reflecting in his eyes was her image, gentle as a calm stream.

Inside the holy church, the master of ceremonies had tears in his eyes, but he managed to smile and announce: "I now pronounce you Alexander Foster and Miss Chloe Collins as husband and wife. In this life and beyond, you will support and accompany each other. Now, the groom may kiss the bride."

Alexander lifted her veil and passionately kissed her lips.

"Hello, my Mrs. Foster."

The friends and family clapped their hands, but many had tears in their eyes.

The weather was fine and sunny three days after the wedding, perfect for sightseeing.

Chloe Collins was feeling better than usual and was finally able to get so fresh air.

Alexander held her hand as they slowly walked on the path before Harville Temple. Their fingers intertwined tightly, sweetly.

Once they reached the temple, Alexander, holding her in one hand and carrying a small sapling and so tools in the other, headed for the rear mountain.

There was a big, wide piece of land in the rear mountain. They wanted to plant trees there, one each year.

Alexander did the digging, while Chloe Collins sat on a small stool beside him, quietly watching, a smile playing on her lips.

In the end, she was responsible for watering.

The sapling had just been planted. It swayed slightly in the wind.

She said: "In the future, let’s co here and plant a tree every year. Let’s number this one 01."

"Okay, it’s your call," he agreed.

He specially made a sign and put it beside the sapling.
