Chapter 1169

"Junior, this is impossible. The Comics Club and our Innovation Club are not related. What do we beco if we rge? A mishmash?"

"Chloe Collins, your idea is very strange. Our Comics Club is for reading, while their Innovation Club is for inventing. It’s like comparing apples and oranges!"

The noise was giving Chloe Collins a slight headache, and even her hearing aid was no help.

She raised her hand to silence the crowd, and everyone gradually quieted down.

She said, "The rger of the two will not result in one big camp or a unified managent structure. The original Comics Club will not change, and I will apply for a new place for the Innovation Club, so you can continue your research. For the Comics Club, I just need you to regularly send soone to understand the progress of the research, and use this as a the for a comic book. I will handle the subsequent publishing issues. If you are willing to cooperate, all you need to do is each do your own job to the best of your ability."

After listening, everyone thought for a while and nodded.

"This is actually a good idea; to publish a comic book with inventions as the the, we have no problem!" The president of the Comics Club grinned again.

"As long as we can keep the Comics Club, I agree with this approach!"

Lucas Locke and others discussed for a while and believed that only in this way could the number of mbers in their Innovation Club et the requirents for forming a group, which would save them from the constant trouble from above.

Considering this, they nodded in agreent: "We agree, however, it will be difficult to implent this; people in the Club Association are hard to deal with, the School Union Committee does not care about these, and it is utterly useless to raise issues to the Student Council."

Chloe Collins showed no emotions and glanced at her phone, saying, "Leave the rest to . I will inform you of any progress. Don’t worry, just leave your contact information."

Lucas Locke quickly gave her his phone number and ssaging app details.

She already had the contact details for the Comics Club.

"By the way, since we are establishing a new club, there can only be one president... Who will it be?" Soone raised their hand.

Lucas Locke and the president of the Comics Club had an unspoken agreent and looked at each other, both showing an unwilling expression.

The next second, they spoke in unison: "Chloe Collins."

The two looked at Chloe Collins: "Since this is your idea, you should be the one to execute it. We both would respect that."

Chloe Collins nodded, "Alright."

"There are still so issues..."

Several people gathered around and raised so minor issues related to forming the club. Chloe Collins listened quietly.

Most of them did not notice that soone had been eavesdropping outside the classroom door for quite so ti.

Realizing they were wrapping up their discussion, Raine Nolan retracted her head and hurried away towards the stairs.

Once outside, she slowed down and began to ponder.

After a while, she rushed back to the Student Council. Seeing Manie York was still there, she relaxed and slowed her pace.

"Manie, haven’t you gone to eat yet?"

Manie York was only eighteen years old, while Raine Nolan would turn nineteen later this year, making her a couple of months older. So, she never addressed Raine as senior, unlike the others.

"It’s still early. I’ll go in a bit," Manie York replied.

Seeing no one else around, Raine Nolan sat down and asked, "Where’s Cherry?"

"She left with her boyfriend." Manie York didn’t seem to want to discuss this topic; her tone was slightly impatient.

A flash of jealousy swept through Raine’s eyes. She masked it with a laugh, changed the topic, and said casually, "I heard sothing interesting outside. Apparently, Chloe Collins wants to rge the Innovation Club and Comics Club and be the president of it all."
