Chapter 1156
After the conversation, Anders Spence looked up at the West Wing building. Just then, he saw a curtain move abruptly; soone had drawn the curtains and hid behind them.
He knew it was Cherry Foster. He knew she was unable to let him go.
Now, he thought of Raine Nolan’s words - "absence makes the heart grow fonder". After so contemplation, he left.
Behind the window, Cherry bit her lip, her face full of distress.
Sophia Ford munched on sunflower seeds, comnting, "You youngsters just love stirring up trouble for no reason. Arguing every few days, there won’t be any feelings left. Are you going to class today?"
Wiping away her tears, Cherry walked away, "No, I took a leave."
Sophia shook her head.
Returning to her bedroom, Cherry buried her face in her pillow, crying softly.
Scenes from last night flashed through her mind.
She was dragged to dine at the Osmanthus Garden by Raine Nolan, and by coincidence, she saw Anders Spence. At that mont, he was lying in another girl’s arms, laughing with his eyes closed. Upon catching sight of her, he even asked why she had toyed with him.
She was livid, and even now, her mood hadn’t lifted.
Her phone buzzed for a long ti.
She picked it up to answer it.
"Hello, Cherry, it’s ."
"Raine, what’s up?" She sniffled.
"Here’s the thing, Jason called to talk about you, I planned to go."
"Don’t!" The mont she heard that na, Cherry got angry, "Let him figure it out himself, don’t tell him anything about !"
"Cherry, don’t be rash, I won’t say anything out of line if I do go. I mainly want to keep an eye on him for you, to understand his current state of mind. You said you guys argue a lot lately, there must be a reason."
"What reason could there possibly be? Isn’t it just that he easily flutters from one attraction to the next? Look at what he did last night, he got drunk and ended up in another woman’s arms, even blaming for it!"
"Raine, I’ve looked into it, and it turns out he was called there in your na by those girls. As for drinking and ending up in soone’s arms, I don’t know what happened, perhaps...he really did drink too much. But that’s normal, a lot of guys do crazy things when they’re drunk. Just the other day, I saw unfamiliar boy and girl from our class kissing after just one drink."
These words did not extinguish Cherry’s rage, if anything, they stoked it further!
"I don’t want to talk about it anymore, he can do whatever he wants!"
The Collinses.
Raine Nolan sat in front of her dressing mirror, listening to the busy tone from the phone, her red lips curved into a smile.
Humming a cheerful tune, she picked up her makeup puff to set her makeup.
Her phone vibrated.
It was a ssage from her boyfriend asking her to go eat later.
She frowned.
[I’m busy, I can’t make it.]
After sending the ssage, she ignored it.
A mont later, her phone vibrated again.
[Felicia: Raine, I did everything that was asked of last night. When are you going to send the rest of the acting fee?]
Raine Nolan cursed under her breath, sending over a thousand dollars.
[Raine: Keep this to yourself, even if they co to you, just say it’s a joke, don’t expose , otherwise, you know the ways of the Collinses.]
Once she confird that the other party saw her ssage, she imdiately recalled it.
[Felicia: I know, I’m not so naive you know? Don’t worry, besides, I think it was quite fun, that hot guy really suits my taste.]
[Raine: I’m warning you, don’t get any funny ideas.]
