Chapter 1121

Milton White said slowly, "There’s nothing in particular, just a little hobby. It’s pointless for you to know, and it would just make embarrassed."

Embarrassed?

She paused in response.

Milton White took the opportunity to say, "So, don’t make things difficult for your senior brother."

Chloe Collins said, "Senior Brother, you’ve grown up. You also have secrets now."

Milton White chuckled, "Yeah, that’s right, exactly. Hurry up and eat. Then go and think about your performance. As disciples of Harville Temple, we can’t admit defeat easily."

This statent sounded like pressure, yet for Chloe Collins, it was like an adrenaline shot. Suddenly, she felt empowered.

"I should think about it."

Milton White knew she finally started taking this seriously. His lips curled into a smile, and unusually, he added a few more pieces of at to her plate.

Foster Mansion.

The eting that had been extended by half an hour finally ended. All the senior executives ca out of the conference room one after another, leaving Alexander Foster alone.

Maurice Willis walked in, his face a little off.

Alexander Foster leaned back in his chair, pretending to doze off, replenishing his energy. Upon hearing the footsteps, he said, "Prepare lunch."

"Uh, Mr. Foster, the lunch was already prepared. I was about to pass it to you, but soone has sent lunch over."

Alexander Foster didn’t open his eyes and said calmly, "If it’s not Chlo-Chlo, send them away."

Maurice Willis paused, choked by the reply, then nodded and left.

As he walked, he instructed the staff downstairs to bring up the lunch and then hurried towards the reception room.

There’s only one person in the reception room now: Manie York.

By the rules, people without appointnts couldn’t co up. But today, Master Foster suddenly gave orders to the front desk staff to let people in, and who would dare disobey that?

Previously, only one person didn’t need to follow the appointnt rule, that person was Chloe Collins—soone Alexander Foster instructed everyone not to block.

Chloe Collins was unaware of this, but everyone in the company knew it. Their long-standing icy CEO had finally lted his frosty exterior and begun to show favor, let alone to a young girl nad Chloe Collins.

No one dared to stop her.

However, there wasn’t much opportunity to do so, as Miss Collins rarely visited the company herself. The last ti the three young masters of the Foster family fought over Redolence, she ca uninvited, but since then, there haven’t been such incidents. Her last sumr job was hired by Alexander Foster himself.

Thinking along these lines, Maurice Willis couldn’t help but feel that his boss’s behavior was sowhat unrequited.

Lost in thought, he absent-mindedly walked past the reception room, until a female voice from inside stopped him.

Suddenly regaining his sense, he steered his steps inside.

"Miss York, I’m sorry, but Mr. Foster is too busy and doesn’t have ti to dine alone. Please go back."

Before he could finish, Manie York had already stood up, "Is that so? In that case, I’ll go have a look. I won’t ask him to accompany . I’ll just deliver the lunch, that’s not too much to ask, right?"

Maurice Willis replied, "Yes, it’s too much. You probably don’t know. Our President doesn’t like surprises. There’s no arrangent for you in his schedule. If you appear abruptly, it will disrupt his mood."

He was blunt in his words, mainly because he had understood the relationship, and out of selfishness, he sided with Chloe Collins. So there was no need to be polite to the "love rival".

Manie York, however, didn’t exhibit any signs of depression or grief. She rely frowned and pouted, seemingly failing to understand.

"That’s not correct. I rember Grandpa Foster said I could co. You don’t need to attend to anymore. I’ll go find him by myself."

With that, she picked up an exquisitely beautiful lunch box and walked ahead.
