Chapter 1101

[Ms. Slater: The stage has been set up for you by the teacher, and now your class monitor is filling in to gather people for you, co by when you have ti.]

Chloe’s brows furrowed in confusion.

"Oh no, Chlo-Chlo, look at this. The incident at the square has already been posted on the forum. What the heck are these people talking about?" Layla Lowell vented her frustration.

Flexing her fingers a bit, Layla rapidly typed in her retort to the harsh comnts.

Wanda Wesley glanced at the screen as well, seeing a flood of comnts criticizing Chloe, accusing her of having no taste, being short-sighted, and being a nerdy girl who only knew about comic books.

"Damn." After swearing quietly under her breath, Wanda calmly penned her response.

Unable to contain her frustration any longer, she decided to ban the forum users who voiced the most an-spirited comnts.

Chloe leaned back lazily in her chair, glancing at Layla’s screen and catching sight of the school beauty voting poll.

Currently, the red team was leading by fifteen hundred votes.

And she was on the blue team.

She brushed it off, saying, "Don’t bother, it’s a waste of energy. Let’s eat."

Layla Lowell & Wanda Wesley: "We can’t ignore it!"

Chloe: "I’m moved."

"Hello!"

A cheerful male voice suddenly intruded into their conversation.

Chloe turned her head to see a handso boy holding a bouquet of flowers, slightly bowing, and presenting them to Layla.

"Please accept this!"

Having hurriedly left these words, he stuffed the flowers into Layla’s arms before striding away.

Layla twitched her lips, murmuring, "He really doesn’t give up."

Setting the flowers aside, she spoke, "This senior has been bothering . I’ve repeatedly told him I’m not interested, yet he still persists."

Wanda comnted, "He looks pretty handso."

Layla smiled, saying to both of them, "Yes, he is quite attractive and matches my aesthetic, but I feel I don’t know him well enough, so I haven’t agreed."

"Who is he?"

"He’s a senior from our college. I t him when I got lost on the first day of school and asked him for directions."

Layla smiled at Chloe and asked, "Hey, Chlo-Chlo, do you think I should give it a shot?"

Chloe shrugged, "I don’t have any experience in this matter, so I can’t give you any advice."

Layla then turned to look at Wanda.

Wanda lifted her eyes, thought for a mont, and replied, " neither."

"You’re kidding." Layla laughed, "What about you and Robert Foster?"

Wanda’s cheeks turned slightly red as she looked down, "We... are not exactly..."

"Wait, what? Not exactly? Either you are, or you aren’t. What’s this ’not exactly’?" Layla looks confused.

Wanda’s slender face showed a touch of lancholy as she leaned back and said, "It’s only slightly better than before, we’re considered to be in a relationship, but sothing doesn’t feel right."

"How?" Chloe asked quietly.

Wanda wrinkled her brows, "I can’t really put it into words. Simply put, since I initiated our first kiss, we haven’t even officially held hands."

A atball slipped off Layla’s chopsticks.

"What?" she blurted out in surprise, "Charles and I had our first kiss just over a week into the relationship. You two have been together for over a month and you haven’t even held hands?"

Chloe took a bite of her squid and comnted, "Innocent."

Wait a second.

She turned to look at Layla, "Charles, that’s Charles Carrington, right?"

Layla seed a bit disgruntled, "Yes, that jerk."

As she spoke, she turned to look at Wanda.

Chloe giggled, enjoying hearing soone curse Charles Carrington.

Wanda Wesley’s gaze beca vacant as she absentmindedly mused, "As for our dates, it was always who asked him if he wanted to go out. He stated it was ok, but we never officially confird our relationship. Now that I think about it, it probably isn’t one."

"If you’re really troubled by it, just ask him." Chloe pushed a glass of juice over to her.
