Chapter 1079
He leaned in, pointing to the images on the phone screen to explain to Chloe Collins: "Most of these plants yielded the sa result, with only a few surviving and thriving. This is a photo I recently had soone take, over the past twenty or so years, people have been afraid of radiation and avoided this area combined with its remote location, it has resulted in being left unattended. Now, that place has beco a dense forest, even the teorite from back then is nowhere to be found."
As Chloe Collins listened, she leaned in to look at the photo. Indeed, it showed a thriving forest that looked rather ominous, certainly not a place where people would go.
"Here, and here, are where the teor Craters were." Alexander Foster scrolled through the photos.
Both of them were unconsciously leaning in closely.
"I’ve already instructed soone to investigate further, any updates will be promptly reported back, perhaps we can find the remnants of X."
"What do you expect to find from there?" Milton White slowly negated him, "It will be only a waste of effort. To cure Eleven’s illness, we can only continue seeking the remaining X."
Alexander Foster stayed calm and steady, he said, "I will find X, and I will uncover the secret of that teorite crater, I won’t let any possibility slip by."
"The teorite crater has no relevance to Eleven’s antidote, it may be related to BDR-2 at most. I am interested in it only because Eleven wants to study robotics, if you’re expecting to find X from there, I think you’re wasting your ti."
"I will make my own judgent." Alexander Foster casually took a sip of his wine, his voice cold as the drink in his hand.
Milton White suddenly changes the subject, "I will handle the situation there. You don’t have to worry about it."
Alexander Foster replied quietly, "So it seems you had the sa idea. You were just being stubborn with ."
Caught off guard by his blunt reply, Milton White looked at him with frosty eyes. "Eleven is soone I watched growing up. Other than Master, nobody has a better right to interfere in her affairs."
Alexander put his glass down on the table. There was a light sound as it hit the surface. His eyes were clear and calm, an inherent authority oozing out. "If you want to interfere that much, have a child of your own."
Milton White slightly pursed his lips.
Chloe Collins sighed at the sudden tension between them, she leaned back, letting her natural laziness seep through.
Anyone else might continuously play the diator between two quarreling parties, but not her.
She wasn’t particularly good at this sort of thing. She’d be fine doing it once or twice, but not consistently.
"Why don’t you just fight it out? All this arguing is getting on my nerves."
As if her words held so magical power, the chilly vibes from both n subsided as soon as she said them, just like a giant bird folding up its wings slowly.
Chloe Collins had a hint of a smile in her beautiful eyes. "Not fighting anymore? Good. Let’s eat."
The three finished a al peacefully without any incidents.
After the al, Chloe Collins wanted to visit Alexander’s company to see how the two robots were being transford. Alexander agreed, and Milton White decided to co along as well.
Three people, two cars.
Chloe glanced at the car doors open on both sides, chose Alexander with the faint sll of wine on him: "I’ll drive his car, he’s drunk and can’t drive."
Milton White stood still, his handso face slightly gloomy.
Alexander flicked off a smile, handed the car keys to Chloe.
The three set off to Alexander’s company, it’s called "Cloudscape," nad after its designer’s first creation. Initially, Alexander was interested in the designer’s talent and since he had an interest in this field, he decided to invest in this company.
As soon as they arrived at the research laboratory, they heard an unusual noise.
