"There’s another matter related to the investigation you carried out last ti." He spoke while adding food to her bowl.

Just as Milton White was about to speak, Chloe Collins’s phone suddenly vibrated.

"There’s been progress with the robot research. Can you co over if you’re free?"

"Alright."

After hanging up, she looked at Milton White, "Alex took two of the previous robots, both undamaged. He said there’s been a developnt, and he’ll be here shortly."

Milton White responded with a half-smile, "What a coincidence."

"What were you saying earlier?" Chloe Collins asked.

Milton White put down his chopsticks and slowly said, "The reason why these robots can’t be mass-produced is that so of the materials used are very scarce. The central chip in the control system is made from a teorite crystal extract."

"A teorite?"

"Yes, oddly enough, the teorite fell near Aunt Joy’s old lab. I also heard that the raw material for this chip was provided by an external source and not developed by Blue Power Enterprise."

Chloe Collins put down her spoon, "You suspect that the drugs are related to this teorite?"

"Exactly. I’ve looked into the teorite incident. Many strange things reportedly happened among the residents in the half-year after the teorite fell. However, all these incidents seem to have been covered up and turned into myths. There’s no evidence, so it needs further investigation."

As his words dropped, the sound of a car stopping could be heard from outside.

She added a chicken leg to each of their bowls and asked Alex, "So, what was your discovery?"

Alex looked at the white chicken leg in his bowl and then at Milton White’s. The chicken leg in his bowl was a whole size larger.

Milton White smirked, picked up the chicken leg, and took a bite.

Alex didn’t touch it, and said, "Chlo-Chlo, my hands are tied."

Both his hands were holding his phone, seemingly typing.
