Chapter 1021
Layla Lowell clucked her tongue: "Chloe, you’re really in demand, really. Wait, where’s Alexander Foster? Didn’t he co?"
She looked around, indeed Alexander Foster was nowhere to be seen.
Three people from the Collinses had arrived.
"Young Lady, the master ordered us to bring the young lady ho, the master said he has prepared a surprise for the young lady."
The three were much colder than the people from the Taylors earlier, not so much asking as blockading.
The path in front of Chloe Collins was blocked.
Layla Lowell comnted: "This isn’t like going ho at all, it seems more like going to a torture chamber."
"You go over there first, I’ll be there in a bit," Chloe told her.
Layla Lowell nodded: "Okay, then I’ll go first."
Chloe Collins walked towards the Collinses’ car, the three people imdiately stepped forward to open the car door, surprised and unexpected that they would be able to take her away so smoothly.
About twenty minutes later, the car returned to the Collinses.
Rosalind Taylor and her daughter along with Tessa Collins were sitting at the doorway, chatting and eating so snacks.
Tessa Collins glanced at the slowly arriving car, and chuckled: "It must be empty. I told you, they definitely wouldn’t be able to pick her up."
Rosalind Taylor sighed: "It’s a pity, the kitchen is still cooking, and tonight’s al is bountiful."
"What’s there to pity? If she doesn’t co back, we..."
The conversation halted abruptly the mont the car door opened.
Raine Nolan’s complexion faltered slightly as she looked at Chloe Collins getting out of the car, her brows furrowed slightly.
All three were stunned that Chloe had returned.
Rosalind Taylor broke into a smile within a second and greeted: "Chlo-Chlo is back. Co, serve the tea."
Chloe Collins brushed past her: "Don’t bother using hospitality with . When I was here, you were still an outsider."
With this freezing sentence, a flicker of hatred flashed in Rosalind Taylor’s eyes.
Chloe didn’t pay them any attention and kept walking towards the house, suddenly stopped by a new maid.
"Sorry, without permission, you can’t go upstairs."
"Guest, please return to the living room."
A sharp glare erged in Chloe’s eyes, lightly falling on the face of the maid who was shorter than her.
The maid had big eyes, and they radiated arrogance and disdain, as if her back was covered by soone, fearlessly.
Chloe Collins coldly laughed: "Move away."
"No!" The maid defiantly refused.
But the next second, she was pushed aside by Chloe with one hand and stumbled a few steps aside. By the ti she turned back, Chloe was already walking up the stairs.
She panicked and went to find Rosalind Taylor.
"Madam, look at her! She thinks this place is her ho!"
Rosalind Taylor glared at her: "This is her ho. What nonsense are you talking about? You just stay downstairs."
Tessa Collins silently watched the scene, munching on sunflower seeds without speaking a word. She knew that Rosalind was putting on an act for her to see. Privately, she must have bad-mouthed Chloe Collins. Otherwise, how could a lowly maid dare to challenge the young lady?
"What is she going upstairs for?"
Rosalind Taylor’s eyelids tensed up, recalling the last ti her son’s prepared nursery was ruined, and imdiately rushed upstairs.
In the end, they found Chloe in the master bedroom.
"You, how dare you barge in!"
"Chloe, what are you holding?" Tessa Collins was also displeased.
"That, that’s the family register!"
Rosalind Taylor recognized it.
"Chloe! What do you want with the family register!" Tessa Collins widened her eyes.
Chloe had already put the family register into her bag and said casually: "My affairs are none of your concern."
"Also, stop scheming against . I’m very clear about what you’re thinking. If you don’t want to shoot yourselves in the foot, behave."
"What is this attitude! How dare you talk to like this! Put down the family register! Your father will be ho soon, and he’ll discipline you when he’s back!"
"Want it? Co and snatch it." She left these words behind, her backpack slung over one shoulder as she walked out of the room.
