Chapter 555: Chapter 555: Alex, shall we still be brothers?

Chapter 555

After speaking, she sat up and patted the spot next to her. "Just sit here by , and it’ll be fine."

Alexander looked at her pale face and said, "Do you want to go to the hospital?"

"No need."

She moved backward and leaned on the sofa, tilting her head in his direction.

From a distance, it looked like she was leaning on him.

The scent slowly enveloped her, making her feel comfortable, her eyelids slightly narrowed.

Alexander knew what her symptoms were like, so he didn’t force her to go to the hospital.

"Do you want water?" he asked.

Chloe Collins closed her eyes and replied slowly, "There’s no water left. You said you had sothing to eat, right? Where is it?"

He said, "I’ve already had soone prepare it, and it’ll be here shortly."

As soon as he finished speaking, the doorbell rang.

"It’s probably here. I’ll go open the door." he said.

Chloe Collins: "Hmm."

Alexander took off his coat and put it beside her, then quickly went to the doorway.

When the door opened, his calm gaze montarily froze.

The man outside had almost the sa expression on his face.

After a while, the man let out a soft chuckle.

"It’s you."

"Don’t tell her I was here."

With those two short sentences, the man turned and left.

After walking a few steps, he stopped suddenly.

The focus was on his black leather shoes; then, he turned back around.

"Alex, are we still brothers?"

Alexander remained emotionless and didn’t speak.

The man laughed in disappointnt and left without saying anything else.

Not long after, he disappeared from sight.

In the next second, the takeout Alexander had ordered arrived. It was packed in a neatly wrapped large container.

He took the food and went inside.

After the door closed, Raine Nolan, who had been hiding in the stairwell, slowly erged.

She looked at the photos on her phone and felt mixed emotions.

She sent the photos to Sophia Spence.

[Raine Nolan: Sister Sophia, Alexander arrived.]

[Raine Nolan: (Photo)]

It took a long ti for Sophia to reply, presumably because she was too shocked.

[Sophia Spence: Did they say anything?]

[Raine Nolan: Milton asked Alexander if they were still brothers.]

[Raine Nolan: Sister Sophia, is there a story between them...?]

[Sophia Spence: You don’t need to worry about that. This matter stops here. You don’t need to take any more pictures. Thanks for your hard work.]

Raine frowned, unsatisfied with the answer.

[Raine Nolan: Sister Sophia, can you put in a good word for

in front of Jason? He and Cherry have a bit of a misunderstanding about

right now.]

Sophia didn’t reply.

Raine waited for five minutes before getting annoyed.

She cursed Sophia internally and entered the elevator.

She had wanted to tell Tristan Collins about this, so he could make a scene at Chloe Collins, but when she thought of his attitude at the mont, she decided not to.

For Tristan now, he probably couldn’t wait for Chloe Collins and Alexander to be together as soon as possible!

Thinking about it, she didn’t even tell Rosalind Taylor.

She only asked Milton’s identity.

Upon hearing his na, Rosalind looked startled: "How do you know him? Did you see him?"

"I bumped into him by accident. Mom, what’s the relationship between him and Alexander?"

"In the past, they were said to be as close as brothers, but after the two families fell out, they probably stopped contacting each other."

"Ah? The two families fell out?"

"Milton’s father did sothing very excessive to the Fosters, akin to betrayal. The conflict between the older generation affected the younger ones. It should be like that."

"Should be? Mom, are you just guessing?"

Rosalind Taylor said, "Indeed, it’s hearsay. But these things have nothing to do with the Collinses, so don’t ask so many questions."
