Chapter 501: Chapter 501: Targeting Her Property
Chapter 501
Aria Taylor opened her mouth, still looking disbelieving.
"How could it be possible that she developed it? Amy, did you hear that?"
The sister beside her nodded, "I heard it, but wasn’t it said on the news that it was developed by a mature research and developnt team?"
"That’s what I’m saying! Fourth Young Master is really boasting too much. Even if he wanted to save her face, he shouldn’t talk nonsense like that. Does he really think we’re idiots?"
Her younger sister whispered, "Aria, didn’t you say you were very close to them?"
Aria made a sour face, "Didn’t you just hear? She’s still holding a grudge over the feud between my grandma and her mother. How can we get along with the relationship like that? What’s the point of
trying to be friendly when she’s giving
the cold shoulder?"
Her younger sister pouted and didn’t say anything.
Aria’s shopping mood was ruined, and she returned to the Taylor household after a short while.
At ho, the old lady was chanting in the Buddha Hall.
"Grandma, I just went shopping and saw Chloe Collins."
Madam slowly turned around, her high cheekbones and deep eye sockets giving her a sharp, piercing gaze.
"Tell
slowly." She walked out of the Buddha Hall.
Aria walked slowly beside her, saying, "She was walking with the two young masters of the Fosters. They seed to get along quite well, but when I went up to greet them, her attitude was very cold. She even brought up the matter of you not attending Aunt’s funeral to mock ."
"In my anger, I compared her to Raine and ntioned Raine’s advancent to the second round of the Fragrance Alliance competition, intending to put her down. However, Fourth Young Master Foster said that the popular series this ti was developed by Chloe."
The old lady chuckled, her eyes emitting a cold light.
"Kids, they always like to brag."
"Anyway, have you talked to her about the matter we discussed?"
Aria: "I did bring up the matter, and it was only then that she ntioned the funeral. I guess it’s easier to go to heaven than to expect her to co see you on her own initiative."
Madam said solemnly, "I must see this child. The Taylor family used to be a prosperous and prominent family. Since we were hit hard that year, we have been struggling, until this year when things started to turn around. But your father said financing is difficult, and he’s worried. This child must hold the inheritance left by Joy Taylor."
Aria: "But, grandma, will she be willing to help us?"
Madam sneered, "If we go and ask her so directly, she won’t help, of course. That’s why I must see her in person."
"Also, didn’t you say that her relationship with Tristan Collins is not good?"
Aria nodded, "Yes, they don’t have a father-daughter relationship at all. They are not close in the slightest, and Tristan seems to be even closer to Raine."
"Then, does this child harbor any resentnt towards Tristan?"
"There must be! Tristan sent her to live in the mountains for so many years, changing her life. Anyone would hold a grudge in their heart."
Madam stopped, nodded, and smiled slowly, "That’s right. No matter how much she dislikes , her grandmother, at least I haven’t done anything wrong to her. Tristan has not fulfilled his fatherly duties and has raised a girl from another family. Where will the Collins’ property go in the future? Chloe must have thought about this issue."
Aria understood and said, "Grandma, you an to let her believe that we are her backing and can help her take over the Collins’ property?"
Madam nodded, "That’s exactly the idea. Now that she doesn’t even have a place to live and has to live in soone else’s house, you should communicate with her more, and she will eventually understand that we are her only support."
