Chapter 46: I’ll be the Great Primordial’s Apprentice Soon
Everyone turned back and saw Raine Nolan, Cherry Foster, and Jason Spence sitting in the booth by the window.
Robert Foster naturally heard the call as well, but only glanced at it briefly, not really looking at it.
At this ti, it was the peak dining period, and there were not many empty seats in the restaurant.
Chloe Collins didn’t hesitate and walked towards the empty seats, followed closely by Robert Foster.
As they approached, Raine thought they were coming to sit with her and made room for them, smiling at Robert Foster, "Cain, sit here."
However, Robert stopped at the booth next door and let Chloe Collins sit down first.
He then sat down with his back to Raine.
Raine looked at the back of his head, her face awkwardly biting her lip.
Cherry Foster’s little face was puffed up with anger. She turned her head and pulled at Robert Foster’s hair, "Fourth Brother!"
Robert Foster was unhappy and turned back, "Who did you learn this skill from? It’s not ladylike at all."
Cherry Foster put on a serious face, "I have sothing to tell you, co sit with us."
"We can talk at ho."
With that, he turned his head back and ignored Cherry Foster.
As the Fosters’ only granddaughter, Cherry had grown up being pampered by her four brothers. Chloe Collins’s appearance made her feel like she was sharing their affection with soone else.
Suddenly, she liked this girl even less.
Jason Spence added food to her bowl, "Don’t be angry, Cherry. I have so good news for you."
Cherry took a reluctant bite of her food, "What good news?"
"Didn’t you say your grandfather really likes the Primordial’s art? I’ve got so new works. When we go back later, I’ll bring them to you."
Cherry put down her chopsticks, "Don’t ntion it. The ones you gave
last ti were all fake. My grandfather saw it too. Only the first one was authentic. Be a little smarter, alright? You’re such a big person, and you still let people deceive you."
Jason Spence’s face couldn’t hang on any more, so he had to make up with a smile, "Actually, I wrote those. I just wanted to see if your grandfather could see through them. It turns out that his eyes in this field are so sharp."
"Of course! My grandfather is an all-around talent. Your skills are no match for his discerning eyes."
Jason Spence was slightly complacent, "Next ti, on your grandfather’s birthday, I’ll give you a genuine piece because I’ll be the great Primordial’s apprentice soon."
Cherry was surprised, "Really? Didn’t you say that teacher was elusive and mysterious?"
"Well, no matter how mysterious he is, can he resist money? Cherry, money can make the ghosts grind, not to ntion just a calligraphy artist."
The disdainful voice entered Chloe’s ears without missing a word.
The corners of her pink lips raised a faint smile.
"What are you laughing at? Don’t believe it? I can really turn over three sorsaults with my bare hands." Robert Foster said, obviously on a different wavelength from her.
Chloe finally looked at him, "Oh."
Robert Foster didn’t know what else to say, suddenly looking at her bowl, "You eat so much."
Chloe: "Is there a problem?"
Robert Foster shrugged, "No problem, I’ve just never seen a girl who can eat so much and still be so thin. Is this enough? If not, I can get more."
Chloe casually took a sip of water from the glass next to her and said, "I heard...your brothers are all working hard to win the company your aunt left. Are you not interested?"
Robert Foster was suddenly asked about the matter, and was taken aback for a second.
He then shrugged, "I don’t care. Anyway, I’m not interested in doing business."
Chloe lowered her head to eat, still in a casual tone, "I heard that your aunt used to be a famous doctor and made many contributions in dical research."
Robert Foster nodded while eating, "Of course, she is one of the people I admire the most. She is unmarried and devoted her life to dicine. Even at ho, she spends all day in the laboratory, and we can’t even get her out for dinner."
Hearing this, a glimr of light flashed in Chloe’s eyes, and she put down her chopsticks.
"Laboratory?"
