Chapter 405: Chapter 405: His Smile is Very Healing
Chapter 405
Seeing that Layla Lowell was almost asleep, she sped up the car.
The late-night lanes were much quieter and smoother than during the day.
The car stopped at Southvale’s Riverside entrance, with the two cars she left behind still separated by so distance.
She patted Layla Lowell’s shoulder to wake her up, and then carried her luggage inside first.
After opening the door and putting the luggage in, it took her less than two minutes. When she went out to carry Layla in, she found that she was not needed.
Charles Carrington ca in with Layla in his arms, his steps light and relaxed.
"Is the room on the first floor?" Charles asked her.
Chloe Collins glanced at the girl in his arms who didn’t dare to move and nodded slowly.
She pointed in one direction: "Second room on the left."
Charles carried her in right away.
Alexander Foster followed inside, standing in the doorway, making the two-ter-high door seem a bit small.

"I’ll leave when Charles is done," he said.
Chloe nodded: "Feel free, just help
close the door when you leave. I’ll go upstairs and take a shower."
She continued showering, feeling a bit sticky after the fight in the middle of her bath.
Alex smirked. Wasn’t that what he just told her?
He went to the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water, making himself comfortable.
In the room.
A faint sll of dicine hung in the air.
As soon as Charles put Layla down, he noticed that the gauze on her left foot was loose, so he helped her fix it.
Layla covered her foot: "Mr. Carrington, I can do it myself. You should go back and rest."
Mr. Carrington stared at her for a few monts, then suddenly smiled: "Don’t worry, I will."
Layla’s expression stiffened again: "I didn’t an that..."
