Chapter 379: Chapter 379: Shaken

Chapter 379

Alexander Foster’s brothers looked at each other, a silent and invisible tension growing between them.

Raine Nolan greeted them and stood up to find Cherry Foster.

She was already in a good mood today, and hearing about this matter, she felt even more delighted.

Based on the records in the latter part of the perfu formula book, Chloe Collins didn’t know anything about perfu blending!

Alex was dood to lose!

Now her heart was extrely content, thinking that in a month, when Alex saw his dismal sales, he would realize it was Chloe Collins who had caused his loss.

A man who had never lost before, suddenly losing, must have felt terrible. Perhaps he would begin to dislike Chloe Collins, and then notice Raine Nolan’s shining qualities.

The more she thought about it, the happier she beca. In no ti, she arrived at Cherry’s door.

She hadn’t given up on repairing her relationship with Cherry and had been waiting for ti to ease Cherry’s anger.

Before coming here today, Raine’s mother told her that it is about ti, so she decided to talk to Cherry.

"What are you doing here?"

Cherry’s voice ca from behind.

Raine was both nervous and happy. She turned around and smiled, "Cherry, you’re back."

Cherry maintained a distance of two ters from her, speaking indifferently: "What do you want?"

Raine remained silent, her eyes reddening.

Seeing her like this, Cherry’s coldness softened a little: "What... What do you really want to say?"

Raine bit her lip, raising her head in a soft voice: "I just missed you so much that I wanted to co see you."

"At Affiliated High School, you were my only true friend. No matter how I treated others, I always was sincere with you."

"I know I might have done many impulsive things, but you know my circumstances. Being a stepdaughter without any background in the Collinses, every day is like walking on thin ice."

Cherry turned her face: "Why are you telling

all this?"

Seeing Cherry’s expression softening, Raine gritted her teeth and slapped herself hard.

With a crisp sound, it was exceptionally loud.

Cherry was startled and couldn’t help but walk forward, "What are you doing?"

Raine cried, "I just want to go back to how we were before. I’ve been miserable these past months."

Looking at her red eyes, a certain determination in Cherry’s eyes wavered.

"You go first, let

think about it."

She was confused, directly entering the room and closing the door.

Raine hastily wiped her tears, saying, "In my heart, you will always be my only friend."

"I’ll go back first."

There was no response from inside.

However, Raine was already very satisfied with the result.

Edgar Foster ordered the driver to take her ho. On the way, she sent a ssage to Rosalind Taylor to tell her what had just happened.

Rosalind told her that it was almost done. From now on, all she had to do was to keep talking to Cherry.

Cherry was a rather naive young lady of a rich family. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and it was easy to see what she was thinking. It was easy to deceive her.

When she returned to the Collinses’ residence, she hurried in, eager to tell her mother and the others about Chloe Collins’s matter.

As she walked into the entrance hall, she heard the voices.

Tara Collins had already left, and only Tessa Collins, her aunt, was still at ho. Tessa said she would attend the perfu press conference with her tomorrow, and then leave afterwards.

Raine knew what Tessa ant. It was because she had ntioned Tessa’s na on every previous award show, so she, too, wanted to appear at this press conference, letting others think that she had led Raine along the way.

Raine despised such people in her heart. However, with their family background to protect them, all she could do for now was to flatter them.
