Chapter 373: Chapter 373: The Man Who Suddenly Appeared
Chapter 373
Layla Lowell had a straight temper. Upon hearing the insult that sounded like a curse on her mother, she couldn’t help but step forward, "You ill-mannered brat, co here."
She only took two steps before the staff at the door stopped her.
"Sorry, sorry, please calm down, young lady. They’re just kids, you don’t need to argue with them. Today is Damien Hart’s fan eting, please don’t cause trouble here."
The staff was a cute young man, and his tone was quite nice, so Layla reluctantly cald down.
The three girls behind the staff imdiately made a smug face, sticking out their tongues.
"Fine, but I’m only backing down for my idol."
As soon as she finished speaking, the coarse-voiced girl spoke: "You ca to see the stars too? Your outfit is really insincere for chasing stars!"
"Old people chasing stars are just like that!"
The anger in Layla’s eyes was reigniting.
The young man quickly took control, trying to get them inside: "Please give
your tickets."
Layla was stunned: "Tickets?"
She turned to look at Chloe Collins.
Then she looked back at the staff and asked, "I signed up in the fan group, but I don’t have a ticket, can I go in?"
"Sorry, no...you can’t." The young man was apologetic.
The three girls burst into laughter, quite infuriating.
"If you can’t get a ticket, don’t co to see Oppa, you’re not worthy!"
"You don’t know anything, and you’re chasing stars, just go ho and watch TV!"
"Daring to ss with us? Let’s teach you a taste of the cruelty of this world." Layla rolled up her sleeves.
Just as she was about to move forward, a sudden pressure ca down on her shoulder.
She instinctively looked back and saw a tall figure coming over and standing next to her.
Her emotions suddenly collected, and she was shocked: "Mr. Carrington?"
Charles Carrington showed a caring look like a big brother, and whispered: "Good evening."
Chloe Collins also saw the man standing beside her.
Actually, she had felt him approaching just now.
But she didn’t expect him to be here too.
"What a coincidence." He smiled with a raised corner of his mouth.
Chloe, rembering the bet just now, asked, "When did you get here?"
"Just arrived."
She nodded and looked at Charles.
It seed that the relationship between the two n was very good, and they were often inseparable.
The sudden appearance of the two n instantly changed the atmosphere.
The sneers on the girls’ faces suddenly froze, their eyes filled with amazent and devotion, they stared blankly at Alexander Foster and Charles Carrington.
First, they were amazed at the divine looks of these n.
Then they felt sour, wondering why they seed to have such a good relationship with these two "old aunts."
"What are you doing?" Charles asked Layla.
Layla responded, "I ca to see my idol."
"You co to see your idol without even having a ticket!" The three girls continued to sneer.
There was a sour tone in their words.
Layla told herself to stay calm and not to argue with these immature junior high school students.
So, she shifted her gaze and asked the staff, "Isn’t there any other way to get in?"
"Of course there is."
Charles suddenly spoke up.
Layla looked at him suspiciously.
He smiled slightly, looking at Alexander Foster.
Here was the Fosters’ territory, and Alex could make the call.
But Layla hadn’t thought of that and looked puzzled.
As Layla wondered his aning, Chloe put her phone back in her pocket and softly said, "Let’s go. We can go in now."
