Chapter 366: Chapter 366: BDR-2 Experint Record

Chapter 366

Alexander Foster glanced at his slow-reacting assistant and said, "Get it done within a week."

Maurice Willis nodded, "Yes, I will get right on it."

Alex gave a slight nod, waving him out of the office.

The office suddenly beca quiet.

In the silence, Alex walked to the wall, pushed open the secret compartnt, quickly unlocked the safety deposit box inside, and took out a docunt bag.

In the bag, besides the paper files, there were quite a few photos.

He took them out, flipped through them, and casually picked out a photo.

In the photo, five chimpanzees were neatly lined up against the wall, their eyes radiating unease directly hitting his vision.

Each chimpanzee was of a different size, but each one had a very clear mark branded on them: BDR-2.

On the back of the photo, there was the sa marking and the date the photo was taken — 03.18.2001.

His eyes distant, the image of giving that chimpanzee a bath that night suddenly appeared in his mind.

The sa mark was on that chimpanzee as well.

Obviously, it was one of this batch of experintal subjects.

But his aunt had told him that the entire batch of subjects, due to having been injected with drugs, had all been euthanized for public safety reasons.

How is it that so many years later, one suddenly appeared?

Moreover, it appeared beside Chloe Collins.

What left the deepest impression on him was that the intelligence of that chimpanzee was no different from that of humans, and it could even express its inner feelings in sign language.

He recollected his thoughts and looked at the docunts in his hand.

The title of the docunt read: BDR-2 Experint Log

Date: 03.29.2001

He casually flipped open a page and the text on it caught his eye—

[On the fifteenth day after the drug injection, the subjects did not exhibit any rejection. Their imitation skills improved, and they began displaying bipedal locomotion and using tools for eating.]

[On the twenty-fifth day after the drug injection, the habituation of the subjects beca highly similar to those of humans. They began to gather, with the stronger ones establishing roles and producing tools, as if conspiring to escape.]

[On the thirty-fifth day after the drug injection, the intelligence of the subjects improved. The laboratory was destroyed by the subjects, and two researchers were injured in their escape from the base.]

[On the fifty-fifth day after the drug injection, the subjects suddenly reverted back to their animalistic behavior, indistinguishable from before the injection.]

[On the seventieth day after the drug injection, the subjects disappeared collectively. The researchers were unhard. Surveillance showed that this was a long-planned ’jailbreak’. The subjects intentionally reverted to their animalistic behavior to lower the vigilance of the researchers and wait for an opportunity to escape.]

[On the eightieth day after the drug injection, researchers found them in a cave according to the chip location injected into the subjects. The subjects could walk upright, wear clothes, and even begin to build houses. Their lives are gradually becoming humanized.]

[On the hundredth day after the drug injection, the subjects resisted the researchers, causing serious casualties. Instructions from above ordered to stop the experint.]

Getting up to this point, Alexander Foster furrowed his brows.

After putting everything back into the safety deposit box, he continued to think about this matter.

For Chloe Collins, Timmy Collins is like a ticking ti bomb.

After all, on this Earth, he is not the only one who recognizes that mark.

A buzzing phone interrupted his thoughts.

He picked it up to take a look and his face imdiately turned solemn. He swiftly got up, grabbed his coat, and left the office.

As soon as he reached the elevator, he bumped into Charles Carrington.

Charles Carrington raised an eyebrow, "Great timing. I wanted to discuss sothing with you. Let’s have dinner together."

"I don’t have ti." Alexander entered the elevator and directly pressed for Floor -1.

Charles Carrington stepped in, "What’s the matter? Sothing urgent?"
