Chapter 32: Chapter 32: The Outcast

When it was finally ti to leave school, Chloe Collins was in no hurry to go.

On the one hand, it was because of ssages on her phone; on the other, she didn’t like squeezing through the stairs with others.

Her sense of sll was as overly sensitive as her hearing, and without anything like a hearing aid for it, she would get a whiff of all sorts of odors in crowded places, especially in sumr. The complex mix of slls would get on her nerves.

There were quite a few ssages, but she picked out the most important ones to read—

[Heijii: Boss, things are going as you predicted, all is progressing smoothly, they certainly won’t be able to sign the contract within these few days~]

After chatting for over ten minutes, she got up and left.

The teaching building had quieted down, barely anyone was in sight.

She still didn’t take the elevator, casually descending the stairs.

Almost reaching the first floor, rry laughter floated up from below.

At the staircase entrance were three guys and four girls, including Cherry Foster and Raine Nolan. They were about to go out for lunch at a restaurant outside, but since soone was still missing, they decided to wait there.

They were all chatting happily until Chloe Collins appeared, and their laughter subsided.

Everyone’s look was more or less the sa, all contemptuous of the girl in front of them.

So looked down on her plain clothes, so on her solitary behavior.

So didn’t even spare her a glance, not taking her seriously at all.

She strolled casually through the crowd, calm and composed, paying them no mind.

Only when she was distant did Raine Nolan cry out in surprise, "I was so busy thinking about other stuff that I forgot to invite my cousin to join us for lunch."

Cherry Foster stopped her, "Don’t! If you invite her, we’re not bringing you along."

Raine Nolan hung her head, looking pitiful like a small animal.

Anders Spence gave them a glance, saying, "Enough, why cause a rift over a lowly person? Let’s go have lunch."

Raine Nolan looked up, "Diego Willis is here?"

"He just ssaged . He’s waiting at the school gate for us."

Chloe Collins spent so ti in the cake shop near the school entrance, buying a few things to eat.

Eating, she seed different from her usual self, in Heijii’s words: like a bunny gnawing on a carrot.

She indeed enjoyed good food, a habit developed from childhood.

Having filled her stomach, she set off towards East Street, which inevitably involved passing through a small alley.

Turning a corner, an interesting scene ca into view—

Raine Nolan and her party were surrounded by seven or eight youths, and were being forced to put their belongings into a bag.

"Hurry up! Want a beating, huh?" A youth with a cigarette in his mouth wielded a bat threateningly at Diego Willis.

Anders Spence was shielding Cherry Foster, his expression icy: "I warn you, you’d better let us go right now, otherwise I’ll make you regret it!"

A dark-skinned man chuckled before throwing a punch at Anders’ stomach, "Warn us, yeah? Go ahead and tell!"

Then another punch.

Anders Spence clenched his teeth and managed not to groan, still shielding a crying Cherry Foster.

The others were also quite frightened, hurriedly handing over their possessions.

"Big Brother, you were right to co here, quite a haul."

"Huh, this is nothing. Look at these people, aren’t all of them rich kids? For them, this is rely the cost of a al... hey girl, why are you crying? Co over here."

He gestured for Cherry Foster to co over.

Cherry Foster’s sobs intensified.

Anders Spence frowned, "We have given you the money, you should let us go now!"

"Big Brother" rely laughed, "No rush, no rush."

So of the others started to feel up Raine Nolan and the other girls.

Diego Willis, trying to protect them, was punched several tis for his efforts.

Just then, soone yelled, "Big Brother, a fancier one just showed up!"

Everyone turned around, focusing on the cool beauty that was Chloe Collins.
