Chapter 316: Chapter 316: Breached

Chapter 316

What’s more dramatic is that there are now a few threads in the forum specifically discussing Chloe Collins’s background. Everyone has always thought that she was a charity case, and most classmates discussed it quite rationally. However, there’s always soone, seemingly living to mock others, who started a thread to ridicule Chloe’s origins.

Quite a few wealthy students had been expressing their opinions casually, like: I want to clear out my wardrobe, seeing that she only wears a few sets of clothes all the ti, why don’t I just give her all my old clothes? It’s always good to help others, and maybe it’ll even prolong my life! But I guess she can’t wear my clothes, they’re too gentle for her temperant, hahaha...

Another one was like: Students with such backgrounds actually have a hard ti, too. When it cos to birthdays, I don’t know if I should invite them or not. Poor people and rich people are in different circles, so they can’t blend in. It’s awkward to invite them, and it’s also awkward not to. It’s really difficult for us.

Now that everyone knows Chloe Collins’s true identity, looking back at these threads seems utterly ridiculous.

At 9:25, threads like these disappeared without a trace.

The discussion is centered around Chloe Collins’s true identity. However, soone raised doubts: Why did Raine Nolan deny having any connection with Chloe Collins before?

The person who raised the doubts started a thread to specifically discuss this issue. His view is that even Robert Foster usually gets along well with Chloe Collins, why is Raine Nolan, who is in the sa family, so cold to her?

Five minutes later, after a series of discussions, everyone concluded that the relationship between Chloe Collins and Raine Nolan was estranged, and their wealthy family was filled with complicated conflicts.

Evelyn Thompson was quite surprised to see these comnts. She didn’t expect Raine Nolan and Chloe Collins to act like strangers at school.

"Cain, is what they’re saying true? Are their sibling relationships really that bad?"

Robert Foster hesitated for a mont and said, "Yes, they’re pretty bad."

Thinking about how he was almost deceived by Raine Nolan’s lies before, he felt uncomfortable.

"Anyway, don’t believe what she tells you about Chloe, there’s hardly any truth in what she says."

Evelyn Thompson sighed, "How exhausting it is for young kids to live such a life."

"Oh? What’s this?" Robert Foster gawked, his fingers typing rapidly on the keyboard, trying to return to the previous page but failing.

"Mom, did you see that? The whole page just flashed and changed!"

Evelyn Thompson nodded, "Yes, it did. Is there a problem with the internet?"

"The internet is fine, I think soone hacked it."

As they spoke, Robert Foster saw a very strange thread. The font was bright red, very eye-catching, as if waiting for them to click it.

He clicked other areas, but there was no response. Moving his mouse over the red text, it imdiately floated up, growing one size larger than the other text.

"Only clicking here has a response," said Robert Foster.

"Very exciting? What does that an?" Evelyn Thompson wondered.

"I don’t know, let’s see."

Robert Foster clicked in imdiately.

As soon as they entered, they saw a video. The video played silently and automatically, shot from a bird’s eye view, showing the whole scene.

It was clear from the video that Raine Nolan was hiding in the shadows to secretly film Lilian Pearce and her daughter. It perfectly captured her face at that mont, filled with a malicious grin.

The video was quite short, and it was apparent that the purpose was to expose the person who had released and guided the school public opinion from the beginning.
