Chapter 304: Chapter 304: A Familiar Feeling!

Chloe Collins raised the corner of her mouth, her gaze wasn’t excessively sharp or overpowering, but it contained a unique power that could easily startle and instill doubt in others: "As you interrupted

just as I opened the cara, I didn’t have ti to record yet. I then put the phone in my pocket and accidentally recorded it. Let’s listen to it."

With a press of her thumb, the phone imdiately emitted a cacophony of sounds, clearly originating from the school!

The others couldn’t see the screen, but they heard the noise, the chaotic mix of voices and school broadcasting, confirming that it was indeed at the school.

"I-I was mistaken!" Raine Nolan suddenly exclaid.

Her emotionally uncontrollable words earlier in the morning in front of the bathroom door were quite aggressive. If the two aunts were to hear them, her image would collapse!

"I really was mistaken. It wasn’t at the bathroom doorway!" She added.

Chloe Collins pressed her thumb again, paused the video and firmly placed the phone on the table, cutting off the sound.

Her confident, willful gaze stared at Raine Nolan as she controlled the situation, and she asked softly: "You were mistaken? Weren’t you very certain just now?"

Raine Nolan shook her head: "No, I really was mistaken. I-I might have... Oh right, I went to your classroom door and asked a classmate to relay a ssage to you. I then returned to my class as I was short on ti. I didn’t even see you, so I didn’t speak to you."

She looked at Tessa Collins with a pitying expression and said, "Since my results in the competition didn’t et my expectations, I’ve been completely out of sorts, and my mory is fuzzy. Aunt, can you understand my situation?"

"The child is indeed not in the right state of mind, so it’s understandable if she mixes up things. It caused this misunderstanding, so let’s forgive her." Rosalind Taylor spoke softly.

Chloe Collins leaned back slowly and seed distressed: "If that’s the case, who told you those words that I would rather die than return to this family? Or did you just imagine it?"

Raine Nolan’s face suddenly turned pale in surprise!

"I... "

Seizing the mont, Chloe Collins stared at her and simply picked up the phone, waving it in front of Raine Nolan’s eyes. Her gaze was like a black hole that could swallow everything: "Did you really go looking for

or not? Did you?"

Raine Nolan’s eyes quivered under her stare and she unbelievably shook her head, "No... "

"Raine!" Rosalind Taylor called out.

Raine Nolan snapped back to reality, her pale face turned to Rosalind Taylor, and silently shed two lines of tears.

She was all too familiar with this feeling!

During the last banquet at the Fosters, she had been inexplicably captivated by Chloe Collins’ eyes and misspoke as a result!

Looking at the others, their expressions were similar to those at the banquet table that night!

Disappointnt... mixed with contempt.

If they couldn’t see the truth from falsehood in this situation, they wasted their eyesight.

The two aunts and their husbands exchanged glances with quite serious expressions.

They already had a pretty firm idea in their minds.

The old madam beca even more certain and scolded in a deep voice: "Raine, you... "

"Ah... "

Rosalind Taylor suddenly cried out, interrupting the old madam’s words.

Everyone looked over and saw her holding her abdon and wailing, leaning on Tristan Collins’ shoulder and calling out: "Honey, I have a terrible stomachache."

The few people exchanged glances, knowing full well what was going on.

But the matter of the fetus was important, and it was still vital to be careful.

Tristan Collins imdiately had soone help her upstairs and called for their family doctor. The others also followed to take a look.

The lively dining table quieted down, leaving only the old madam and the siblings, Chloe and Tristan Collins.
