Chapter 292: Chapter 292: Not a Single Word About Chloe Collins

Chapter 292

She tightly gripped her phone.

The phone was in a call, connected to her mother Rosalind Taylor’s phone.

This was a small ploy her mother ca up with.

On the day the scores were announced, she would let the family listen to the results together, so that her mother could smoothly convince Tristan Collins to let her co back.

Five minutes ago, at the Collinses’ house.

Tristan happened to be ho today, watching television with a few guests in the living room, chatting leisurely.

These guests were all invited by Rosalind Taylor, and each had children studying at Affiliated High School.

These two couples were quite influential figures in Capitol, not quite at the level of the Collinses but still in the second tier of the social pyramid, rich and noble families.

Rosalind invited them mainly to show off.

Aside from the two couples, there was also a rather special guest, her niece, Aria Taylor.

She was invited mainly to prove Raine’s efforts in front of everyone, and to drum up support to persuade Tristan to bring her back.

Rosalind walked over, placed the hands-free phone on the table, and observed Tristan’s expression.

"Honey, today is the day when Raine’s Chemistry competition results will be announced. According to tradition, their school will announce the good news to the entire school. I am now connected to Raine’s side, and we will have news soon."

Tristan’s expression was neither good nor bad, he just grunted in response.

"The chemistry competition, right, my daughter told

that the results would be announced today," Mrs. Foley said.

Rosalind smiled and said, "It must be Hannah, she and Raine are in the sa Competitive Class, and their scores are quite good."

Mr. and Mrs. Foley both smiled, very proud.

Madam Foley added: "I heard from Hannah that both of Mr. Collins’ daughters participated in this competition."

Tristan showed a formal smile and said, "It’s all about participation."

"For our Hannah, it might be about participation, but not for your Raine. I heard that she always ranks first in every exam. It would be strange if she doesn’t get the first place in the city this ti."

Mr. Foley said, "Raine is indeed impressive. She has won nurous awards in various areas since she started school. Mr. Collins is so lucky to have such a brilliant daughter."

Another couple joined in the conversation, "Raine is the most outstanding student among her peers; this is a widely accepted fact."

"I think that after this competition, Raine will definitely receive a direct admission to Capitol University. She won’t have to go through the hardship of waiting until June like our kids."

The few of them were talking, not ntioning Chloe Collins at all.

Rosalind laughed and said, "You all think too highly of her. If she gets a first prize, we would already be overjoyed. After all, the contestants this ti are all very skilled."

Aria was eating squid shreds on the side, quietly watching them. Then, she interjected: "Raine is also one of the top competitors. Uncle, Raine has been staying up late every day to prepare for the exam recently. It would be unjust if she doesn’t get first place."

Tristan’s expression was hard to read, neither good nor bad, as if the matter didn’t concern him.

Rosalind felt a bit anxious in her heart.

But her face still showed a humble look, "Aria, don’t say that. Actually, Chlo-Chlo is more talented in our family. Madam Foley, don’t you agree?"

The people exchanged knowing smiles. Their expressions seed quite difficult to articulate; they all wanted to say no but thought it would be impolite to say so directly in front of Tristan.

Obviously, they didn’t have much hope for Chloe Collins. At most, she was there for "participation."
