Days later at Shangia, China

Nicklaus opened the sliding door of the conference room. His cold expression hardened the more when he saw the mbers of the higher-ups all seated.

He arrived in this country so weeks ago but nothing concerning the shares has been done. The only valuable thing that kept him from leaving was his company. He decided to take care of everything concerning his company here in China before leaving. He has no plans of leaving the States until Arissa gives birth so for that, he decides to arrange everything and set long-term goals.

Just as his father had said, his company issues ca from the higher-ups. Luckily, he figured everything out earlier, and soon, everything would be settled.

His face held a smug expression when Mr. Rhode locked eyes with him. He passed his gaze over to Mr. Guzn.

Scanning the room, he scoffed inwardly when he saw Mr. Lin’s daughter seated on one of the seats, staring directly at him.

Ignoring everyone, he took his seat, not letting his strong intimidating aura drop for a second. Cracking his knuckles, he waited for the board mbers to speak up. He was impatient to know what they had in mind.

"What’s the point of this eting if you are all going to mop at as if I’m new to you?" Nicklaus asked, switching over to the Mandarin language.

"It’s ti we share the Lin shares among us," Mr. Rhode replied in English.

Nickkaus scoffed thoughtfully. He stared down at the round conference luxurious shiny wooden table in thought and then, the corners of his lips lifted into a ghost smile.

He looked up again, directly into Mr. Guzn’s eyes, "I want to buy the whole of Lin’s shares," he said impatiently as if he had been waiting to say it.

Mr. Guzn frowned, "That’s pure greed, son,"

"I know who my father is," Nickkaus scoffed, "And talking about great, how well do you love shifting your personality to the next person?"

"How much are we speaking about if you want to buy the whole shares?" Mr. Edwin, one of the board mbers chid in. The sound of money coming from Nicklaus sounds too sweet for him to resist.

Nicklaus spared him a glance and fixed his eyes back on Mr. Guzn, "How much would you love to sell the shares? Rember, shares aren’t cash," he taunted.

Mr. Guzn scoffed, "Sure, shares aren’t cash," he agreed, his words implying a deeper aning.

Nicklaus smiled. Getting the ssage, he forwarded, "Don’t forget I have other companies outside the one you know of. If you think causing issues for my Enterprise will make penniless, then you are so wrong." his face beca cold again, "So how much will you love to sell the shares?"

Mr. Guzn looked at the other shareholders around the table. He shared a knowing look with them and a few of them nodded in response. This tiny act of theirs did not skip Nicklaus’s watch. His eyes watched them like a hawk.

"100 million Yuan," Nickkaus dropped a price when Mr. Guzn kept shut and just relaxed on his seat watching Nicklaus.

Mr. Edwin rubbed his palms together happily. He loves the appearance of Nicklaus at any board eting that involves money.

"Too small," Mr. Lin’s daughter spoke up for the first ti. "For the sake of business, I initially planned to give the highest shares to whoever becos mine but since you decide to buy the shares, the floor is open," she said with a strong aura.

Nickkaus rested his gaze on her. He investigated her before coming down here. She was the heiress to the Lin’s group. Lin Jing was her na.

"You should_"

"I’m here for Jing alone. She’s the reason I ca down here and I want to speak to her. Do not interfere even if I decide to get married to her now," he cut Mr. Guzn off and returned his gaze to Jing, "350 million Yuan?" He negotiated again.

Jing scoffed. "You won’t have to waste so much amount of money if you just get married to , you know,"

Nickkaus let out an irritated hiss from his mouth, "My wife is a better option even in the next thousand years," he sassed, putting the Asian beauty in a corner.

Jing smiled, "How much do you want to buy my father’s shares?" She imdiately went back to business. She does admire him but not anymore. He’s a bit too blunt for her to handle.

Nicklaus sat up straight, "Your father’s share isn’t worth half of the money I just ntioned. But for benefit’s sake, 500 million Yuan. Anything higher than this, then it’s nice doing business with you," he concluded, easily to stand up and step out.

This was his sole purpose of coming to this eting, to buy the shares and walk away. If the shares are being shared, he won’t get much unless he listens to their nonsense.

So why listen when he can just buy the whole of it? He knew the higher-ups saw this coming. That was their main reason for trying to crumble his company. They want to leave him bankrupt and penniless so he won’t be able to buy the shares as they foresaw.

However, he’d always get his way out.

The board mbers looked at him in surprise. They never expected a twist like this. It made them look like fools.

Nicklaus fixed his eyes back on Mr. Guzn, "Should I leave or you present the necessary docunts for to sign?"

Jing raised a briefcase beside her and placed it on the table. Opening it, she brought out a few files from it and passed it over to Nicklaus.

Mr. Guzn gritted his teeth when the files got into Nicklaus’s hand. Proudly, Nicklaus transferred the money and signed the docunts. The mont he was done with that, he left the conference room. Leaving the n marveling at what just happened.
