Arissa stared at Geal with a straight face when he switched over to laughing so hard and had no plans to stop.

The sound of his laugh filled the dining hall.

Nicklaus’s jaw clenched, "Enough with this madness, Geal. Who permitted you to visit in the first place?" he spoke up, his expression hard and unsmiling.

Geal paused his hard laugh and Arissa released a small breath of relief and sat up on her seat. Just when they thought he was done, he continued his show.

"Love?" Geal repeated with humor and began to laugh again with red eyes. He chuckled, "Did you call her, Love, just now?"

Arissa’s mouth formed an ’oh’ when he gave out the reason why he laughed so hard and Nicklaus’s brows could only tighten into a frown.

Arissa chuckled looking at Geal and Nicklaus turned to her, his brows questioning. He had no clue why she would find Geal’s crazy show amusing.

A small smile plastered Arissa’s lips and her cheeks heated up. She shook her head amused as she returned to her meal. Even the nickname sounds funny to her so she can relate to Geal.

Geal’s laugh gradually died down and he said, "Seems someone spilled some secrets out last night,"

Geal passed a wicked smirk over to Arissa and she turned pale like someone set on a battlefront for the first time in her life.

Her heartbeat resounded so loud that she heard it herself. What was Geal hinting at? She thought and her cutleries left her grip.

Geal saw all of it and he noticed how his words controlled Arissa’s emotions and he enjoyed all of it.

She never ceases to amaze him. First, she changed his best friend for the better but only towards her. His friend was only cozy and warm to her while for others, he remains cold and heartless.

Secondly, she made Nicklaus fall in love with her and now she’s too shy to let her feelings out. Holy shit, what the fuck is wrong with both of them?

They keep on playing with themselves and they seem to enjoy it. Well, if they do, he doesn’t.

At first, he opposed Nicklaus’s feelings because he feared Arissa would not reciprocate his feelings or perhaps she would turn out to become like his mother but after having small thoughts on everything, he realized the risk might be worth it.

Whereas, Mrs. Wyatt stands as a perfect example to erase all the belief that says all women could be the same. Geal was beginning to dismantle the thought of them all being the same and if Nicklaus’s love story goes smoothly, he promises to also get himself a chick he would keep forever.

Nicklaus frowned at the mention of secrets. "What are you trying to say?" Nicklaus’s interest was piqued and he gave Geal his full attention.

Arissa’s heart left her rib cage when Nicklaus faced Geal with interest to know more. Her pale face turned more pale until it looked like that of a sick someone.

Geal grinned, "It’s a pretty interesting secret,
