In a scheduled restaurant, Raquel sat on one of the seats with a tight scrowl on her face. She looked offended, and yes she was.

Her father invited her out to spend so ti together over dinner but little did she know he saying that was just a trap to lure her out.

She could not believe her eyes when she arrived at the restaurant. From the door, she spotted Ethan already seated starting at the door - no, he was staring at her.

His charming smile never departed his face and at the mont, he opted for casual evening wear while she was heavily adorned with glamorous jewelries and a white flowing fishtail gown.

She looked away from him but turned back to him when she realized sothing. He was seated on the reserved seat for her and her father.

Not only that, her father appeared and took the next seat beside the young man. Ethan whispered sothing into her father’s ear and the older man et her eyes.

He gestured at her with his hands for her to co over and with slow heavy steps, she walked over to her lovely father.

She blessed his both cheeks with her usual greating kisses before taking the last seat on the table which was opposite the young man.

Ethan did not even look her way as he began to eat and started a conversation with her father which sounded like the countinuation of whatever they were talking about before her arrival or before her father stood up.

Raquel stared at the young man before her with bored eyes. Technically, she was more than bored and wanted to walk out of Ethan.

She only sat still for the sake of her father who seem to be enjoying the young man’s achievent story.

Ethan was a real estate agent. A young man with no plans to take over his father’s company and that would be her problem with him and her father.

Did her wanker of a mother not state the fact that she needed Nicklaus and not so random man with no aspiration to get to the top of the business world?

"Does the food not serve to your taste, Mi’lady?" Ethan directed the question toward Raquel, bring her attention back to him.

This was his first speech to her since they ca out to this arranged dinner planned by her father.

He lived carefree doesn’t an he love to take people’s shits and that was the reason he haven’t spoken to the fair lady before him.

Her beauty seems just on her skin.

Raquel cast him a tight glare. She arrogantly flipped her longer Blonde hair off her shoulder and answered, "The last ti I checked, I was just pleaded with by my father to have dinner and not you. In one word, it shouldn’t be your business if the food serves to my taste or not." she gave him a smug smile, "I can afford the whole restaurant if I want to and I presu you are worried because you can’t,"

Mr. Robert dropped his cutleries in surprise and Ethan’s mouth dropped open at her direct ridicule.

He returned her smug smile with a cordial one and began to cut his roasted turkey, "I wasn’t given a chance to comnt on the al you prepared the first ti we t since you left back to your room without dining with us."

He put his fork into his mouth. Slowly munching on his turkey, his smile never faded. Swallowing, he continued, "But now I would and since you want to buy the restaurant all for yourself, I suggest you also stay at the kitchen corner to enhance your way of cooking to avoid uncommon mistakes," he said calmly, holding her gaze.

Mr. Robert’s face turned red.

Raquel felt embarrassed. She brought her glass to her lips and gulped it down softly not backing down from the staring contest between them.

She softly drooped her glass down and cleared her throat, "Thank you so much for the advice. I could rember coming downstairs to clear the table and when I did, there were no crumbs left on your plate as you had eaten all of it,"

She smiled at him, "Could you perhaps be starved before coming over_"

"Raquel!" Mr. Robert squealed in horror. Where did his sweet baby disappear to?

"Yes, Father?" she answered without taking her eyes off Ethan’s own.

Ethan smiled at her and raised his wine glass towards her, "A toast," he said.

Raquel raised a brow at him, "To what if I may ask." she asked cautiously. Regardless, she raised her glass but held it to herself.

With his most innocent face on, Ethan answered, "To your journey in being a good cook,"

Raquel expression turned flat but she still managed to mask an ugly smile on. Stretching her hand forward, she clicked it with his softly, "A toast,"

Giving Ethan a full smile, she sipped from her glass. She needed soone from the higher ups who can help her get closer to Nicklaus.

This was Ethan Gabrial, son and only heir to Brial Group. So whether he likes it or not, the company would move over to him when his father joins the ancestors.

His words have a stance among the higher ups and she believes that everyone needs to play a role in her ga.

Arissa got married to Nicklaus because of her family influence and now, so bad her family na seems to be dying just the exact way her marriage with Nicklaus would die soon and her na as Mrs. Wyatt would be perished forever.

The Lincoln couple have left the higher-ups and with Ethan and just a tiny problem created, she can see herself beside Nicklaus as a wife.

She smiled at herself.

"It was nice eting you again, Mr. Ethan," she said, standing up, "But I have to go, there’s sothing I have to prepare,"

Mr. Robert looked at he daughter and back to her al, "Aren’t you going to eat?" he asked with concern.

"As this fine man have said, this al surely doesn’t serve to my taste," she said with a flat tone.

"That’s alright, Mi’lady, I could do you the pleasure anyti. I ca to realize that you love the sour taste als best," he said sacrastically, still hinting on her poor cooking skills.

Raquel did not get mad, she just gave him a small smile and turned away after clutching her small purse. She have more better things to arrange tonigh.

Each second counts and she could not wait to share a bed with Nicklaus Wyatt.
