Nancy stood from a distance watching Raquel being all responsible in the kitchen. She was happy the girl finally made a good turn in her life but what she never understood was why now.

Another thing, the girl still had her nasty attitude but the cooking aspect made Nancy proud. In just a short while, the girl has her special delicious recipe.

Nancy ca to realize sothing. Hannah spoilt the girl so much, there are so certain changes since Hannah unexpectedly left.

Humming slowly, Raquel arranged the table, consisting of the al she had just prepared. She spent all of her evenings doing this and right now, she was exhausted.

She invited her dad over for dinner and her mum... Well, let’s not talk about her mum. She hasn’t spoken to that bitch ever since that incident.

The devil could claim the woman for all she cares. She needs help and her father seems more willing to help.

Applauding herself, she went back to her room to arrange herself. Her dad always favors her when she’s on her best conduct and with this al, she was sure she would win him over in a heartbeat.

He had always wanted her to cook and now, she’s learning how to and she believes her reward from him would be bountiful.

She must convince him to help her talk to Mr. Wyatt. If she had talked to her father about this earlier, he wouldn’t have let Nicklaus get married to that woman.

That shows how much of a useless liar her mother was. The woman has been lying to her all these while claiming to be a close friend of the Wyatt family.

She went into her bedroom and fixed her hair before walking into her bathroom. A quick bath would do the magic.

She has to look her best for her father. He loves praising her beauty and for more favor to co from him, she has to look her signified best.

Quick and sharp, she was done with a little makeup to grace her features. Then, she put on a blue mid-length rmaid tail gown that hugged her curves and a silvery white purse in her hold with her blonde hair held up in a high ponytail.

Making her look like one prepared for a dinner date but whatever, she always dolls up for her dad. He was her father and have to see the best part of her beauty first before anyone should.

Going down the staircase, for so reason, the maids stared at her longer than they should. She gave them a proud smile thinking they admired her beauty.

She walked into the dining hall to wait for her father. Bearly seated, her doorbell rang.

"As expected," she murmured to herself, "Today marks the day I’d beco Mrs. Wyatt," she hallucinated.

Like the hardworking girl she recently beca, she stood up and began to arrange the table over and over again to make sure she wasn’t missing out on a thing. The proud smile that would be on her father’s face was everything she aid for tonight and then, she’d place her request.

Her father walked into the dining hall. Raquel dropped everything in her hand and gave him a dazzling smile.

Mr. Robert smiled back at her. He spread his arms wide open for her and without caring about her age, she ran into his arms.

"Father," she muttered in the hug, "I haven’t seen you in months,"

Mr. Robert smiled, "I got so issues in the company that needed to be fixed," he inford her and parted the hug.

"That okay," Raquel claid. Her problem was on the tip of her tongue waiting to pour themselves out. With his company issue, she can even pay off with it. She hopes this works out for the best.

"Ethan," her father called.

Raquel raised a brow at her father. She doesn’t have a maid called Ethan and why would her father bring his bodyguard into her residence?

"I want you to et soone," her father told her and just then, a muscularly lean man in a white tuxedos suit walked in.

He looked all clean, rich, and handso with a piercing set of sea-blue eyes, accompanied by his rich sandy hair that made him more handso and helped him to pull off that playboy aura more with his charming smile.

She looked at her father. This man before her doesn’t look like a guard and why did her father bring him here?

"Father, you never told you would bring soone along," she ntioned having a bad feeling about the presence of this young man before her.

And the worst part of it all was that he kept on smiling at her.

"Ah!" her father breathed with a smile, "I want to et Ethan, son of Mr. Gabriel, my business partner," he introduced.

Raquel nodded, warily eying her father and the man.

"Rember Mr. Gabriel?" her father continued.

"I do," Raquel nodded absentmindedly, "I rember Uncle Gabriel,"

She doesn’t welco this man before her. She hasn’t seen him before and she naturally doesn’t welco his temperant. He seems too carefree.

Ethan stretched forth his hand, "It’s nice eting you in person, Miss Raquel," he said. His voice sounded low and ek.

Raquel darted her eyes to her father and back to the outstretched hand before her. Her father nodded at her and only then did she receive the handshake.

"Your mother gave an insight into how much you want to have a husband and a family,"

Raquel stiffened hearing her father. As if burnt by the man’s hand, she forcefully withdraw her hand and stared at her father.

’What did he an by that? A husband? A family? ?’

Not taking note of how pale Raquel has changed, Robert went on, "Since you invited for dinner, I want you to use that dium to et your future husband, Ethan,"

Raquel froze, ’Future husband?’

She turned to the man, staring at him without blinking, she turned to her father.

This better be a joke!!!
