Chapter 10
The two boys walked side by side across the road and entered a hall at the side.
“Speaking of which, is that girl really a swindler?”
“Is she really a swindler? She’s quite good-looking!”
The blond-haired boy, who was nad Sun Yan, was continuously probing.
“…”
“Tsk tsk, her skin is so fair. She’s pure and obedient. How adorable!”
“…”
“Why didn’t she try to dupe ? I’m willing to take the bait!”
“…”
“Is it too late for to get her phone number now? When it’s convenient for her, she can co and dupe.” Sun Yan was extrely frustrated.
Li Shunan had been ignoring him and looking down and swiping away at his cellphone instead. In the end, he finally interrupted, “Where are we eting?”
Sun Yan grabbed a handful of his blond hair and imdiately snapped back to his senses. “Your ho. We’re going to have a hotpot at your place, so I’m out to get so wine.”
After he finished speaking, silence filled the air.
Li Shunan looked up and said, “Who gave you permission?”
Sun Yan patted him on the shoulder, as if it was a right of course. “Well, the courtyard of your ho is spacious. Why can’t we have hotpot there?”
Li Shunan turned his head to the side and looked at him indifferently.
With a flattering smile, Sun Yan said, “Well, you’re finally back, so I thought we should have a gathering. Cut us so slack, Brother Nan… Let’s celebrate your upcoming return to school… Hehehe!”
Li Shunan remained cool and aloof as usual, not wanting to bother about him at all.
Sun Yan quickly thought of sothing else and asked in puzzlent, “But I always feel that little swindler seems a bit familiar. Other than the incident yesterday, I should have seen her sowhere else. That doesn’t make sense… she is such a lovely girl. If I’ve seen her before, how can I not rember? Could it be that she has really duped before?”
He scratched his blond hair and began muttering to himself incessantly.
Li Shunan’s fingers paused, and he soon returned to normal. There was no change in his expression at all.
There was an entire stretch of old residential buildings behind the mall.
They passed through a long alley with walls that were covered with moss.
They stopped in front of a small courtyard house.
The iron door was rusty, and the weeds in the courtyard were cleared away. The entire place looked much tidier.
Sun Yan “tsk-ed” and said, “Look how clean and tidy I’ve made your house beco!”
There was a large table in the courtyard which appeared out of nowhere. There were about ten people of mixed gender seated by the table, most of whom Li Shunan did not know.
When they saw the two at the door, the people imdiately fell silent for a mont before starting a commotion again.
“Brother Nan is back, quick, quick, move the chair…”
The group of people began moving ssily, and so of them even stumbled.
“Are you a fool…”
“Sun Yan, damn it, where’s the stuff?”
“Where’s the alcohol? Where’s the alcohol I told you to buy?!”
It was extrely chaotic in the courtyard.
Sun Yan looked at the group of fools inside and cursed in his head. He thought, ‘Damn it, we’re going to be thrown out.’
Feeling uneasy, he looked over and glanced at the “Little Overlord” of the old city district.
The tall and slender young man was standing in the doorway of the courtyard, gritting his molars in silence. His temples were throbbing.
After a long ti, he placed his cellphone in his pocket and sighed. What he said next was beyond their expectations.
“You can’t leave until you clean up…”
Although his tone was not exactly amicable, it could be regarded as tacit approval.
Sun Yan could not believe his ears at all. After recovering from the shock, he hurriedly bowed and said, “Yes, Sir!”
‘Wow, it’s only been two years, but the Little Overlord has beco less hot-tempered.’
‘He didn’t make us move the tables away and get lost!’
In the next second, he couldn’t laugh anymore. Instead, he slapped his thigh forcefully.
“Damn it, I forgot to get alcohol again…”
