It was a brand-new day for Athena. She woke up early to prepare breakfast for Aaron. She felt like things were finally falling into place. Her brother recovered his lost mories. They successfully reclaid their father’s company. And now, she was with her son, Aaron.

’I couldn’t ask for more. I feel so happy for this developnt,’ Athena thought to herself.

"Good morning, Mommy!" Aaron greeted her, approaching Athena to give her a warm hug.

Athena crouched down to give him a forehead kiss. "Son, Can you call your Uncle Enzo? Tell him to join us for breakfast."

Aaron bobbed his head. "I’ll wake him up, Mom. Wait for us!"

Athena could only smile as she prepared the food on the dining table. She had just finished setting up the table when she received a call from Vladimir.

"Good morning, V! How are you?" Athena’s cheerful voice was heard.

"I’m good, Athena. How about you? Did you sleep well?" Vladimir asked her.

"Yes. I had a good night’s sleep. I’m so happy because Aaron is with now," she replied enthusiastically.

"Uhmm, Athena," Vladimir called out before taking a short pause. He sounded a little bit nervous. It seed like he had sothing to tell her however, he was hesitating.

"Yes, V? Is there sothing you wanna say to ?" Athena asked curiously.

Athena heard Vladimir taking a deep breath before speaking.

"I wonder if you’re free this afternoon. I want to... ask you out on a date." Vladimir almost held his breath saying those words.

Athena let out a soft giggle. Now, she understood why Vladimir sounded anxious from the other line.

’V also has a cute side. I didn’t expect that he would get nervous by just asking a girl out on a date.’ Athena smiled inwardly.

"I’m free this afternoon," Athena replied.

’Yes!’ Vladimir scread in his mind while punching the air. He was so happy that Athena agreed to go out with him on a date.

"I’ll be there and fetch you by 11 am. Ahem, I have one more request, Athena," He said shyly while scratching his face.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Can we go alone? Without Aaron?" Vladimir had a surprise for Athena so he thought it would be best not to bring Aaron with them. He just wanted to be with her.

Athena glanced at Aaron who was walking toward her together with Enzo.

’V didn’t want to bring Aaron with us.’ She understood if Vladimir only wanted to spend ti with her alone. However, she felt like she was abandoning her son just to go on a date with her man.

"Athena, it’s okay if you don’t feel comfortable leaving Aaron. We can just–"

"Oh, it’s fine. I can ask Aaron to stay with her Uncle Enzo today. I also want to give them ti to bond... just the two of them." Athena didn’t want to disappoint Vladimir so she decided not to bring Aaron with them.

’It’s alright. The three of us can go out together next ti. Today, I’ll just fulfill my duty as Vladimir’s girlfriend.’ Athena thought, consoling her own self. Then she glanced at her son guiltily.

"Mommy, Let’s eat!" Aaron gently tugged her hand, guiding her to her chair.

Aaron was so attentive to Athena that he placed food on his mother’s plate, encouraging her to eat more. Her son was very thoughtful.

"Mommy, what is your plan today? Do you want to go out with ? We can go shopping!" Aaron looked at her expectantly.

On the other hand, Athena was taken aback for a mont. She felt very conflicted right now. Just like her, her son was looking forward to spending ti with her.

This was the first ti they would go out as mother and son, not as aunt and nephew. However, she had just committed to Vladimir to go out on a date this afternoon.

"Aaron, actually... Your Uncle V just called earlier. He invited to go out on a date with him this afternoon. And I said ’Yes’. Do you want to cancel my date with him?" Athena consulted her son. She would follow whatever he would choose. Aaron was still her priority. She didn’t want him to be sad.

"Oh! No worries, Mom! You can go with Uncle Vlad. I hope you enjoy your date with him. I will stay with Uncle Enzo. I promise I will behave."

Aaron was so considerate that he tried his best to conceal his disappointnt. He wanted Athena to be happy. If his Uncle Vladimir could make her happy, then he wouldn’t stand in the way. He would support them. For Aaron, his mother’s happiness ca first, before his own.

"Thanks, son for your understanding. I promise I’ll buy you sothing once I return ho." Athena gently pinched his cheeks and stroked his hair.

"You are always welco, Mom! Don’t worry about . I can take care of myself. Just focus on your date with Uncle V. Hehe I just hope he won’t bore you."

Enzo couldn’t help but chuckle at Aaron’s remarks. "Why do you say that, my dear nephew? Is your Uncle Vlad a very boring person?"

Athena just gave her brother a warning glare, making him shut up.

On the other hand, Aaron tried his best not to laugh. "Well... that’s not what I an, Uncle. It’s just that... Uncle V never played with us, so I don’t know if he knows how to have fun. He is always serious and strict with Kimmy and ."

Enzo could only smile upon hearing that. He could already imagine how Vladimir treated those two children. Maybe Vladimir was not child-friendly at all. But when it ca to Athena, he had a different temperant and personality.

anwhile, Aaron couldn’t help but compare Dominique to his Uncle Vlad. Whenever he spent ti with Dominique, he always had fun. He wasn’t worried about misbehaving or being playful and naughty. Aaron felt so comfortable in Dominique’s presence.

’Sigh. I suddenly miss Uncle Dom. I wonder how he is doing right now. Can I invite him over? I want to spend ti with him and play,’ Aaron thought to himself, thinking about Dominique.

"Mommy, can I invite a friend here?" Aaron asked them.

"Of course, you can," Athena promptly responded.

"Yey! Thanks, Mom! You are the best!" Aaron hugged her.

Little did Athena know, Aaron was referring to Dominique.
