At W Diamond Group Conference Room...
The Board mbers and the shareholders were all present for today’s eting. Sasha and Dominique attended together.
Though Dominique’s scandal toned down after the press conference, Alfonso Williams still pushed through the shareholders’ eting. They aid to dismiss Dominique’s managent right over the W Diamond Group.
"Almost everyone is here," Alfonso Williams mumbled aningfully as his eyes swept the conference room.
Sasha and Dominique sat together, clueless about Alfonso’s plan.
’Finally, I will be able to reclaim the company. I won’t allow Dominique to dominate us again. He is just an outsider who covets my family’s company and fortune.’ Alfonso thought, sneering slyly.
As everyone settled down on their respective chairs, Alfonso received a text ssage from Luna.
[ Chairman Williams, you can start the eting now even without us. We will be a little late. But my Boss will surely co before the voting of shareholders. ]
Alfonso smiled triumphantly, feeling grateful that he found a strong ally. Mr.V was the one who approached him, offering him so help to reclaim the company from Dominique’s hand.
He learned that this mysterious Mr. V was a business rival of Dominique’s company that’s why he offered him so help. He didn’t suspect him to have an ulterior motive for helping him.
"The majority of us are here so we can proceed now to our first agenda." Alfonso declared to them.
Everyone agreed.
"Mr. Smith, you are the major shareholder of our company. Are you aware that your scandal has affected our stocks?" Alfonso targeted Dominique right away.
Dominique wasn’t bothered when his scandal was ntioned. However, Sasha was the one who was triggered by Alfonso’s statent.
"We’ve already cleared the issue. It’s not true!" Sasha sternly said.
Alfonso Williams laughed at them mockingly.
"But the damage has been done to our company," Alfonso retorted.
Dominique just remained silent in his seat. He seed to be not interested in the current topic. His mind was going sowhere– thinking about Athena. He also didn’t look so well.
"So what are you trying to say here?" Sasha questioned Alfonso with a raised eyebrow. She was the one speaking on Dominique’s behalf.
"Hmm. It’s about our main agenda today... the removal of Dominique Smith from the company’s managent decision-making body." Alfonso boldly replied. He was no longer afraid of Dominique Smith.
anwhile, Sasha let out a sarcastic laugh. "That is so absurd! You can’t do that. Dominique is still the largest shareholder of this company." She peered at everyone present there. She could tell that Alfonso had already convinced the board mbers and the other shareholders.
’So he cos prepared, huh!’ She thought as she glanced at Dominique, tapping his thigh under the table.
"Dom, Say sothing," Sasha whispered to him.
"Let’s wait. Alfonso is not yet done with his speech," Dominique nonchalantly responded, looking at Alfonso. He was sitting opposite Dominique.
"Mrs. Smith, just in case you didn’t know yet. Let enlighten you today." Alfonso smirked confidently.
"Your husband sold thirty percent of his shares. He only had thirty-five percent of the total shares. While the new largest shareholder has a total of forty percent of the company shares."
Dominique and Sasha frowned when they heard that.
"Is it true? Did you sell the thirty percent of your share? But why?" Sasha confronted Dominique.
He was silent as he recalled sothing. ’I didn’t sell my shares. I gave it to Athena as part of our deal. But how co Alfonso knew about losing thirty percent of my shares?’
At that certain mont, Dominique had his suspicion. ’Don’t tell the largest shareholder now is Athena? But it looks like Alfonso is not aware of it.’
"Who is our largest shareholder now, Mr. Chairman? Last eting, you ntioned that you would introduce him to us today?" One board mber spoke up.
Before Alfonso could reply, his phone vibrated. He imdiately checked his ssage. After a few seconds, he grinned broadly.
"Don’t worry, everyone. He is on the way here now." Alfonso inford them. He had just received Luna’s text ssage telling him that they had arrived at the building. They were currently riding the VIP elevator.
It did not take long before the entrance door of the conference room was pushed open. A woman escorted a man in a black suit. Everyone turned in their direction, following their movent.
But Sasha and Dominique were both shaken upon recognizing the man who had just entered the room.
"Vladimir," Dominique mumbled, his expression turning dark and cold.
Alfonso stood up, welcoming the newcors with utmost respect. "Mr. V. Welco to our company. Please sit down next to ."
Vladimir ignored Alfonso since his sharp gaze fell on Dominique’s face. The two n locked eyes with each other, both were displeased and annoyed. The heavy tension was palpable between the two n.
"Everyone, I would like you to et Mr. V. He is our current largest shareholder!" Alfonso introduced Vladimir to everyone with pride. He enjoyed seeing Dominique’s dark expression.
By just watching the two, Alfonso could tell that there was ongoing rivalry between the two.
’Hahaha. I’m glad I accepted Mr. V’s offer. I made the right choice. I can beat Dominique through him.’ Alfonso rejoiced inwardly.
"Mr. V, do you mind giving us a short speech?" Alfonso urged Vladimir to speak. He seed to be trying to curry favor from the powerful man.
Vladimir hissed, distancing himself from Alfonso. He couldn’t bear to see his face. He also hated this person because he betrayed Athena and Enzo.
Alfonso noticed Vladimir’s coldness and indifference toward him. He didn’t know why he looked displeased. He simply glanced at Luna. She was always the one communicating with him.
Seeing his questioning gaze, Luna just shrugged her shoulders, feigning ignorance.
On the other hand, Sasha’s gaze was glued to Vladimir’s face. She couldn’t believe that she would et her savior again under these circumstances. Furthermore, she recalled that this man was sohow connected to Athena. She had seen him on the internet, attending Athena’s concert.
’What is going on here? How did he beco the largest shareholder of our company?’ Sasha pondered to herself.
