At Smith Mansion...
Sasha barged into Dominique’s study room, her anger surging up.
"If you don’t want Athena’s reputation to get ruined, you have to make a statent, denying this affair! I’ll arrange a press conference! You and I will attend together and deny those fake accusations. We will also announce my pregnancy." Sasha spoke spontaneously.
She didn’t allow Dominique to object.
"Whether you like it or not, you will co with to the press conference! You have to speak up, Dom!"
Dominique didn’t want to argue with Sasha. He knew that Athena’s reputation was at stake so he had to do sothing.
"Fine. I’ll attend the press conference."
Still enraged, Sasha turned around to leave. She imdiately called the major dia companies in York City, inviting them to the press conference.
She inford a lot of reporters that she and her husband were willing to be interviewed regarding the issue and scandal related to Athena and Dominique.
Athena and her team haven’t made an official statent yet. So Sasha wanted to grab this opportunity to release their statents first.
’I won’t allow Athena to destroy my marriage. Dominique is my husband. I won’t divorce him. She won’t be able to steal my husband away.’ Sasha thought to herself.
anwhile, Dominique continued staring at his laptop. He didn’t know what had gotten into him. But he left a comnt, telling everyone that Athena was not his mistress, but his legal wife.
’Damn it! I’m crazy. I shouldn’t have said this!’
Without further ado, Dominique imdiately deleted his comnt. No one would understand his statent. He was the only one who knew about Athena’s identity.
Sabrina was alive and he didn’t submit the signed divorce agreent to the civil registrar. So, typically, Sabrina and Dominique were still married to each other. It was his secret that even Sasha didn’t know.
’I can’t reveal to the public that Athena is Sabrina.’ Dominique took a deep sigh, covering his face using both hands. He didn’t know what he should do anymore.
Dominique was still in the process of figuring out what he should do next when his phone rang. It was a call from W Diamond Group.
"Hello, Mr. Smith. Have you received our email?" Alfonso’s secretary asked him.
"What email?" Dominique frowned.
"There will be an ergency shareholder eting this coming Friday. You must attend it, Mr. Smith," the secretary casually said, informing him.
"Alright. I got the mo. I will attend the eting." Dominique confird his attendance at the upcoming shareholders’ eting.
"Okay, Mr. Smith. I will update our Chairman about this. Again, have a nice day." The secretary imdiately hung up the phone.
Dominique wasn’t bothered by this shareholders eting. Besides, he would attend the press conference to clear his scandal. He was doing this for Athena’s sake. He didn’t want her career to get ruined because of him.
’I have to know who spreads our photos on the internet. I must punish them for the breach of our privacy and for illegally taking our photos.’ Dominique thought to himself while gritting his teeth.
With so many bashers attacking Athena right now, Dominique wondered how she was doing. He just hoped Athena was emotionally strong enough to handle those negative and malicious comnts.

At Gael’s Villa...
anwhile, Athena went out to see her best friend, Gael. She was still bothered by the comnt Gael posted on the internet. She needed to talk to him right now.
Athena t Gael in his house. It was the safest place away from the public. Athena was still hot in the reporters’ eyes. They’d been trying to corner her to get a statent from her but she refused to get interviewed.
"Athena," Gael mumbled in shock upon seeing Athena at his doorsteps. He imdiately grabbed her hand, pulling her inside the house.
"Why are you here? Are the reporters still tailing you?" he asked her worriedly.
She just shook her head, eyeing Gael silently. She didn’t know how she would confront him. As much as possible, she didn’t want to hurt his feelings.
"I need to talk to you about this..." she said in a serious tone. She showed him the screenshot of his online comnt.
Gael fell silent upon seeing his online post.
"Did you write and post this?" she softly asked him, looking straight into his eyes.
He took a deep sigh as he nodded in response.
"Yes. It was ..." he paused for a mont as he contemplated what he would say to her.
"I’m sorry. Did my words bother you?" Gael scratched his face, smiling awkwardly. He confessed his feelings impulsively online.
Now that he was face to face with Athena, he needed to muster up his courage to tell her everything.
"Yes... I want to know why you said those words."
Gael exhaled deeply, trying to calm his nerves. He was a little bit nervous right now. He hid his feelings from her for so long. He didn’t get a chance to confess because Dominique ca to her life.
He felt as if Dominique had stolen his chance to confess his love for Athena.
"Athena, I ant everything I said in that post. They are my true feelings for you. I regretted not fighting for my love before. I beca a coward because I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. And at that ti, you told how much you love Dominique." Gael finally admitted his feelings for Athena.
Athena had mixed emotions after hearing those words. She didn’t know how she would react. All this ti she only treated him as her best friend and as a brother.
"I hated myself for allowing Dominique to co into your life. You suffered because of him. I should have prevented it from happening. He broke your heart." Gael expressed his regrets. He wished he could turn back ti.
Athena was overwheld by this revelation. She was clueless about Gael’s romantic feelings for her. He never expressed it freely.
Gael moved closer to her, holding her shoulders. "Sabrina... I want you to know that I have always loved you. I love you more than a friend."
He smiled bitterly as sadness reflected in his eyes. "I know it’s a bit too late. And I know you don’t feel anything for . You only treated as your best friend."
"But still... I can no longer hide this. I have to let it out... and confess. Sabby... I love you so much."
Athena was at a loss for words.
