"Do you have feelings for ?"

Those last words coming from Enzo resounded in Lanny’s ears. She wasn’t ready for that direct confrontation. In the first place, she wasn’t the type of person who wanted to commit to a serious relationship.

Not hearing any response from Lanny, Enzo stepped forward, closing the gaps between them. He grabbed her shoulders and asked her once again.

"Do you love , Lanny?"

At that certain mont, Lanny felt alard. She wasn’t comfortable answering the question truthfully, so instead, she brushed it off with a lighthearted laugh.

"Hey, Enzo, stop this. You are overthinking. We’ve slept several tis in the past. Don’t give deeper aning to this. Okay? I’m just here to comfort you and help you forget about Alice. I want to cheer you up."

Enzo was taken aback after hearing her words. Disbelief could be seen in his eyes. He didn’t expect her to say those words. He thought their intimate mont had a deeper aning for Lanny. He had to admit that he got hurt by her bluntness.

"Does that an... you feel nothing? Not even a little?" Enzo’s voice was heavy with disappointnt.

Lanny could only nod, her gaze shifting away. She couldn’t bring herself to look him in the eyes, the weight of guilt pressing down on her.

"Yes. I feel nothing. You are my friend... I did it because you are my friend."

Enzo released her shoulders, folding his fingers into a tight fist.

"You shouldn’t have done that. You are leading on. And it is not fair to Dmitri. You are engaged to him." After saying that, Enzo marched out of the bathroom, leaving Lanny alone.

Lanny could only sigh as she watched his back. "I’m sorry, Enzo. I can’t give you my heart."

Lanny just continued to stay there under the shower, washing away those unwanted thoughts. She didn’t want to acknowledge her feelings for Enzo. She was a coward. All she could do was pretend that she felt nothing for him.

When she left the bathroom, she didn’t see Enzo around the house. It seed like he went out to cool himself down. Lanny waited for Enzo to co back but to her disappointnt, Enzo didn’t return to the house. She tried contacting him but he wasn’t answering his phone. Lanny had no choice but to leave Enzo’s apartnt.

anwhile, the man Lanny was looking for was now standing outside Athena’s penthouse. Athena opened the gate for Enzo.

"Enzo?" Athena was surprised to see her elder brother. Then she noticed his grim expression.

"Athena, I’m sorry. I have nowhere to go," Enzo said in his sad tone.

"No need to apologize. Co inside." Athena imdiately guided her brother inside her house.

She let him sit in the living room, offering him so drinks.

"Is there sothing wrong?" Athena asked him as she sat down next to him.

Enzo told her about Alice and Dominique. Athena was not surprised after hearing his story. Lanny and Athena were sohow suspicious of Alice and Dominique. They finally confird that the two were working together.

"I don’t know what to do anymore, Athena. I feel so lost. I can’t rember anything. And the person whom I thought was my savior is working for soone. She has been deceiving for the past few years. I don’t know what is true anymore." Enzo expressed his thoughts to Athena. He felt so troubled by this revelation.

But at the sa ti, he was also in pain because of Lanny.

"Athena, I am wondering if I don’t deserve to be loved genuinely by anyone." Enzo looked down, clenching his fists.

"I should have just died five years ago..."

"No, don’t say that! You are not alone, Enzo. You still have us... and your sister, Sabrina. You have to be strong for her." Athena encouraged him, holding his hands.

"I miss my family... my sister," Enzo’s voice trembled as he looked at Athena, desperation written all over his face. "Please, Athena, can you send to her? I don’t want to be here anymore. I just want to be with her."

"If I stay here longer... I feel like I’m going crazy." Enzo was in a vulnerable state right now.

Athena’s heart ached for him. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state, so broken and lost, was almost unbearable. Instinctively, she pulled him into a hug, comforting him.

"I’m sorry... for keeping this from you. But I think... you have the right to know the truth. Your sister, Sabrina... she is here."

Enzo’s dull eyes suddenly lit up when he heard that. He broke the hug and grabbed Athena’s shoulders. Then he t her in the eyes.

"Is it true? My sister is here... In this country? Tell ... where is she? Can we go to her right now? I want to et her." Enzo shook Athena’s body. He felt a mix of excitent and longing.

Athena gave him a faint smile as she nodded to confirm it. "Yes. Sabrina is here. She is in front of you right now. Big Bro... It’s . Sabrina."

Enzo: "..."

There was a long mont of silence. Enzo was just staring at Athena with a confused look on his face.

After a while, Enzo finally found his voice to speak again. "Athena, what did you say?"

His brows furrowed as he searched her face for any sign that she was joking. "Please, don’t ss with like that. Did you seriously say... that you’re Sabrina? My sister? How could that be possible?"

His heart raced as he tried to make sense of her words. At first, he thought Athena was just pulling a joke on him to lighten the mood. But when he stared at her eyes, there was no hint of amusent. She was serious!

"I’m sorry, Bro, for hiding this truth from you. I am Sabrina, your sister. I underwent plastic surgery to change my appearance. I was presud dead and I ca back here with a new identity. This is for my revenge. I will try to reclaim what they stole from us." Athena raised Enzo’s hands, bringing them to her face.

"My face is now different from my original appearance. But nothing will change. I am still your sister."

Enzo’s eyes beca teary when the reality of her words began to sink in. "You are my dear sister. You are here with ... all along. My sister, Sabrina!"

Enzo could no longer control his emotions as he grabbed her again into a tight embrace. He kept calling her na– "Sabrina. My sister."

"Yes. Bro. It’s ."
