Enzo was escorted inside the York City Police Departnt Building.

"Sir, let handle his interrogation. Chief Espinas gave this task to ." A police officer in his mid 30’s approached their team leader who arrested Enzo earlier.

"Okay, Sergeant Gonzales. I have to submit the report and prepare so paper works. You can also wait for his lawyer," The team leader said, handing over Enzo to his subordinate.

Sgt. Gonzales smiled inwardly as he eyed Enzo with malice. ’Now, I can do everything to this guy. I have a mission to fulfill.’

"Co with !" Sgt. Gonzales motioned for Enzo to walk over.

Clueless of the evil motive of Sgt. Gonzales, Enzo just obediently followed him. He was calm and composed because he knew that he was innocent. The hit-and-run driver was framing him for the cri he didn’t do.

He just needed to follow Gael’s advice– ’Don’t confess or say anything. Wait for your attorney.’

Sgt. Gonzales brought Enzo to a different interrogation room. The room he used was the usual interrogation room for the criminals who committed heinous cris.

Enzo was surprised when Sgt. Gonzales suddenly pushed him from the back and even kicked his leg. The impact made Enzo fall to the ground with his knees hitting the hard floor.

"Argh!" Enzo winced in pain.

Sgt. Gonzales was not yet satisfied. He kicked Enzo once again, hitting his stomach. Enzo grunted and couched from the impact.

"W-What do you think you are doing?" Enzo asked him with glaring eyes.

Sgt. Gonzales just responded with a mocking smile. "I am here to get your confession. Say it! Admit your cri now if you don’t want to suffer! Do you know that the person you hurt is very important to our Chief?"

Enzo narrowed his eyes on him as he held his stomach. He tried to stand up to fight back. But to his dismay, two officers joined them. They imdiately restrained his two hands, making him sit on the steel chair.

"You are going to regret this. I’m not the culprit. You are accusing the wrong person!" Enzo spat back at him.

Sgt. Gonzales clicked his tongue while shaking his head. "Mr. Williams. You are the only person who has a motive to kill Mr. Smith. You shot him five years ago. Fortunately, Mr. Smith was kind enough to forgive you and not press any charges."

"Now, it’s your fault for not learning your lesson. You ca back for revenge, right?" Sgt. Gonzales insisted.

Enzo just remained quiet. Gael warned him earlier not to say anything, especially in the absence of his attorney. Instead of entertaining their accusation, Enzo chose to zip his mouth.

"Sir, it looks like soone is just ignoring your words. What do you want us to do?" The other police officer butted in, provoking Sgt. Gonzales as if he was instigating him to punish Enzo more.

"Heh. We will see how long he can defy us. Give the tools!" Sgt. Gonzales commanded his other subordinate.

"Copy, sir!" The police officer handed a briefcase to Sgt. Gonzales.

He put it on the surface of the table. When he opened it, several tools for torture were revealed to them. They even showcased each tool in front of Enzo to threaten him further.

"This is illegal. I could sue you for this," Enzo hissed at them, unable to believe that these n would stoop so low.

’They frad for a cri I didn’t do. And now, they are forcing to do confession by torturing . When did they beco so shaless and unrespectable?’ Enzo was annoyed but he remained quiet.

He wouldn’t be intimidated or scared by their threat. If they wanted to torture him, then be it! He would never confess sothing he didn’t do!

"Start crying now, Mr. Williams." The police officer taunted him. "Hahaha. I an... start confessing now."

"Sir, is this safe? What if we get in trouble for doing this? Torturing him will leave so marks." One police officer hesitated after thinking about the possible consequences of their actions.

"Why are you afraid of him? He is just nothing. He is no longer powerful. He is now an outcast in the York City. Five years ago, he was a famous bachelor in York City, but not anymore. He has been labeled as a fugitive for the past few years. His reputation and his reputation has hit rock bottom." Sgt. Gonzales said with confidence.

"We have nothing to fear," he added, picking up the sharp dagger from the briefcase.

"Hmm. How about we use electro-torture? At least, the impact of this thod is less visible than inflicting physical wounds like cuts from daggers or bruises from hard punches." The other guy suggested to them.

"Wow. That’s a great idea! Let’s do that. Go and pick a bucket of water. Bring the electro-shock device and apparatus here." Sgt. Gonzales commanded them.

The three police officers were so determined to torture Enzo. Enzo could only grit his teeth, bracing himself for what was about to happen. He would try to endure everything.

’Sothing like this won’t scare . I will not bow down to them. I won’t give them what they want.’ Enzo just accepted his fate today as he closed his eyes and clenched his fists tightly. Struggling was just a futile act in this kind of situation.

The police officers and Sgt. Gonzales began connecting the electric apparatus to his temples and chest.

"Mr. Williams, I will give you another chance. Just admit to your cri. Just say the word and I will forget about this. I won’t torture you anymore. We only need your statent and confession." Sgt. Gonzales tried to convince him again.

"Now. Tell us. Did you hire that driver to run over Mr. Smith? Did you try to kill Mr. Dominique Smith once again?"

"NO!" Enzo just gave them a firm answer. He didn’t do it.

Sgt. Gonzales laughed and shook his head. "You miss your chance. Now, suffer!"

"Go. turn it to the dium-high voltage!" Sgt. Gonzales gave his command.

His subordinates nodded with sly smiles on their faces. They seed to enjoy this. Without further ado, they turned the machine on and set it on dium-high voltage. They were about to press the red button when suddenly...
