Pregnant?! How could this happen?
Both Sasha and lissa were both shocked beyond belief after hearing the doctor’s words. They exchanged anxious glances with one another.
’This is not good.’ lissa thought to herself, eyeing Sasha worriedly.
Sasha was still speechless, her mind processing the information.
The doctor started to feel confused since Sasha didn’t look happy at all. Sensing the intense gaze coming from the doctor, lissa nudged Sasha’s shoulder as she said, "OMG. We didn’t expect this, doctor. My friend is speechless because of overwhelming joy. She has been waiting for this to happen."
"Am I right, Sasha?"
Sasha darted her gaze back and forth between lissa and the doctor before nodding absentmindedly.
"Doc, we are going to take the results. Thank you for this." lissa didn’t waste her ti as she picked up the laboratory results of Sasha’s physical examination. Then she hastily dragged her friend out of the OB-Gyne consultation room.
"Sasha, what is the aning of this? How did you get pregnant? And who is the father?" lissa bombarded her with questions.
Sasha sat down on the bench, feeling ntally exhausted. She had never expected that she would get pregnant.
’I only slept with two n... and Ashton couldn’t be the father since we’ve just slept recently.’
Sasha gasped when the realization struck her. ’No way! It can’t be Timothy!!’ She felt devastated at that thought.
"Damn! I was so careless! This can’t be happening!" Sasha started punching her thighs.
"Hey. Stop hurting yourself, Sasha." lissa caught her wrists, thus stopping her from punching her thighs. "Tell what happened."
Sasha started to sob. "I think... Timothy is the father, l. When sothing happened between us, he didn’t use any protection. And I forgot to take a ’morning after’ pill. What should I do now? I must abort this child! I can’t bear the child of another guy. I only want Dominique!"
Sasha beca hysterical after facing this situation.
lissa could only sigh helplessly while rubbing her back. "Hey, calm down first. Let’s think of another way."
But Sasha shook her head frantically. "I must get rid of this child! This is the only way, l!"
"Think it over, Sasha. Since you are pregnant, we can’t do the artificial insemination. It will take ti before you can conceive a child through this thod. But we can proceed with the sperm extraction and preserve it until the right ti cos."
"That’s why we need to abort this!" Sasha insisted on aborting her child.
But lissa was reluctant to agree. It was a life. She didn’t want to kill it.
"Instead of killing that child, why don’t you raise it? We can make Dominique that he was the father! For now, let’s just proceed to sperm extraction." lissa tried her best to console Sasha while hoping to change her mind about the abortion.
"Do you think it will work if we tell him he is the father? What if he will do a paternity test?" Sasha was doubtful of lissa’s suggestion.
"We can always fake the result of DNA test. Don’t worry. I got your back!" lissa reassured her.
Sasha could only sigh heavily. She was still undecided. Her mind was in chaos right now. She still couldn’t believe that she was pregnant.
As lissa tried to convince Sasha of her next plan, Gael was also on the move. He summoned soone from the nurse station, soone he could rely on.
"Sir, why did you call ?" The nurse politely asked Gael. She didn’t expect that the Big Boss of this hospital summoned her for a reason.
"Nurse Camille, I have a favor to ask you. This is confidential." Gael started in his serious tone.
"Just tell what you want, sir. I will do anything for you. I owe your family a lot." The nurse felt indebted to Gael and his family. Nurse Camille was one of the scholars of the University Hospital of Gael’s family.
"I know I can trust you with this. But don’t worry. I will not ask you to do sothing illegal."
Gael cracked so jokes to lighten the atmosphere. Nurse Camille looked very serious and tense. She just relaxed a little bit when Gael let out a soft chuckle.
"What do you an, sir?"
"Dr. Carl is doing sperm extraction. I want you to steal the specin without them knowing. I will assign you to join them in the procedure."
Nurse Camille was rendered speechless. "Sir, are you sure this is not illegal?"
Gael chuckled once more. "Trust , Nurse Camille. This is not illegal. The people who asked Dr. Carl to do this were the ones at fault. They forged the consent form. Mr. Smith didn’t permit them to do sperm extraction."
Nurse Camille gasped when she heard that. ’How can they do that to the patient?’
"We should warn Dr. Carl about this, Sir." Nurse Camille suggested.
"No need. I want to teach them a lesson by doing this. This is the best counterattack– letting them believe that their plan is a success." Gael expressed his thoughts.
Nurse Camille just smiled faintly. Her big boss was savage with his counterattack. ’I don’t want to offend, Sir Gael.’
"Okay, sir. I will deal with this smoothly. I will still the specin. You can trust with this job," Nurse Camille said with conviction.
Gael gave her a grateful smile. "Thanks, Nurse Camille. Please keep this a secret between us."
Nurse Camille nodded. It did not take long before Nurse Camille left Gael’s office. He imdiately inford Athena about his plan. Gael had just finished talking to Athena when he heard a knock.
"Please co in," Gael muttered, allowing the person outside to enter his office.
The mont the door was opened, Gael’s trusted subordinate greeted his sight.
"Oh, you are here. Do you have any updates? What are they up to now?" Gael asked the guy.
"Master... I discovered sothing while following Mrs. Smith. She just received her examination result. It turned out... she is pregnant." The subordinate reported to Gael.
Gael was rendered speechless when he heard that.
’Sasha is pregnant. But who is the father? Is it Dominique?’ He mused to himself.
