[ At Miguel Ivankov’s Secret Villa... ]

"Grandpa, where is my twin brother? He didn’t co ho last night." Kimmy approached Miguel who was leisurely enjoying his tea on the balcony.

"It’s so unfair," Kimmy pouted her lips, folding her arms over her chest.

"Why can only my brother leave this villa? I want to stroll around the city too and et my friends." She continued venting out.

Miguel chuckled, putting down his tea cup.

"Co here, Kimmy. Sit down."

The young girl obediently complied, sitting next to her grandpa.

"It’s your turn today. Just tell where you wanna go. Do you want to see your Mom?" Miguel coaxed the little girl.

Kimmy’s face brightened up. "I want to go shopping, Grandpa. There are lots of sweets here in York City. I want to buy a dress for Mommy and Aunt Athena. I want to surprise them."

"Okay. But how about your Uncle? Don’t you want to buy him sothing?"

Kimmy rubbed her chin for a mont. ’Hmm. I can buy a gift for Gael in secret, letting my grandpa know that it’s for my Uncle Vlad. Haha. Bright idea!’

"Oh! You are right, Grandpa. I will buy gifts for Uncle Vlad too. A lot of gifts." Kimmy smiled mischievously.

"Alright. You can use my black card. I will let Shao-Shao accompany you."

Shao-Shao was Kimmy’s nanny.

"Thanks, Grandpa. You are the best!" The little girl hugged the old man and gave him a peck for running inside the house to call her nanny.

"Shao-Shao!"

Miguel could only shake his head helplessly as he watched his granddaughter’s back.

’I’m not fond of a daughter. But this granddaughter of mine has a special spot in my heart. She changed my views about little girls.’

At that mont, Miguel realized that he never treated Lanny like this. Because of that, he wanted to make it up to her by spoiling her daughter, Kimmy.

’I may not be a good father to Lanny, but I will try to be a good grandfather to Kimmy.’

Monts later, at the shopping mall.

"Nanny Shao-Shao. I want this. This. This and that!" Kimmy kept pointing her fingers at the beautiful dresses she wanted to buy.

Shao-Shao grabbed each one of the items, putting them in their shopping cart.

Kimmy’s impulsive buying already caught the attention of the shopping clerks and other custors around her.

"Who is that little girl?"

"A daughter of a billionaire?"

"She chooses branded and expensive clothes!"

"I think so. There are two guards following them."

"Which wealthy family does she belong to?"

As the murmuring continued, Kimmy headed to the n’s section.

"Guards!" Kimmy called out the bodyguards.

The two n imdiately stepped forward. "Yes, young mistress. What do you need?"

"Just stand still. I’m comparing my Uncle’s asurent to your body build." Kimmy began observing the two bodyguards as she started to choose suits for her Uncle Vladimir and Gael.

Shao-Shao giggled at Kimmy’s remarks while the two bodyguards just exchanged glances with one another.

"Young Miss, I guess you will be a famous fashion designer once you grow up. You know how to choose the styles appropriate to your mother and your Aunt Athena, including your Uncle Vladimir." Shao-Shao praised Kimmy.

Kimmy just winked at her nanny. "Do you think so, Nanny Shao-Shao?"

Shao-Shao bobbed her head in agreent. "Yes. Young Miss."

Kimmy let out a soft giggle. "Alright. I think you are right. I’m into fashion designing and fine arts. I love drawing too. Don’t worry. I’ll get you a beautiful dress as well."

Shao-Shao waved her hands. "No need, Young Miss. I don’t need a dress. Besides, I am only allowed to wear my uniform."

"No. You are a special person to , Nanny Shao. Starting today, you are going to be my muse. I will tell Grandpa that you don’t have to follow the rules of wearing your uniform. You will only wear the dress that I will choose. Is that clear?"

Shao-Shao just smiled awkwardly. She didn’t know how she would convince Kimmy. This young girl was a little bit stubborn. Once she decided, she would certainly do it.

Shao-Shao glanced at the two bodyguards, asking for their help. But the two guards looked away as if they were telling her they didn’t want to be involved. No one wanted to offend the young mistress. It was best for them to follow what she wanted.

With that, Shao-Shao could only sigh in defeat. "Okay, young miss. I can be your muse."

Kimmy jumped with joy. "Yey. I’m so excited. Wait here. I’m going to choose so tuxedos and suits."

Without waiting for Shao-Shao’s response, Kimmy ran to the other side where different types of suits were being displayed.

Kimmy, distracted by a dark blue suit on display, stepped back and bumped into a tall handso man with silver gray hair who was examining a white long sleeve.

"Oh, I’m sorry, Mister!" Kimmy blurted out, looking up.

"It’s alright, sweetheart. Are you okay?" He gazed down, smiling warmly.

Kimmy nodded absentmindedly, her eyes widening as she glanced at the guy. There was sothing familiar about him that she couldn’t explain.

"What’s your na, Mister?" Kimmy asked him expectantly.

"I’m Enzo." He replied. He was also observing Kimmy intently. Strangely, he felt a sense of recognition too, an inexplicable warmth sitting within him as he stared into her innocent eyes.

"You look like..." Kimmy paused for a mont, rubbing her chin. "... soone I know."

Enzo chuckled softly. "Do I? Hmm. Maybe we net in another life?" He said jokingly.

Kimmy giggled once more. She liked Enzo’s humor.

"Are you here with your parents?" Enzo crouched down to her level, his expression gentle and curious.

Kimmy shook her head. "I’m with my nanny and two bodyguards. They are over there, waiting for ."

Enzo glanced in the direction Kimmy pointed, spotting a woman with a shopping cart and the two n in black standing in front of her. Then he looked back at Kimmy, feeling a strange inexplicable connection.

’This little girl reminds of Lanny.’ Enzo smiled at that thought.

"What’s your na, little one?" Enzo asked her.

"I’m Kimmy!" She replied cheerfully.

Enzo nodded, stroking her hair. "Nice eting you, Kimmy. Don’t wander around too far or else, you might get lost in the crowd." He reminded her.

Kimmy grinned broadly, feeling a sense of safety and warmth.

"You’re really nice, Enzo. You remind of my missing daddy!" Kimmy declared.

"Perhaps you have a missing daughter. That might be !" Kimmy added.

Enzo’s heart skipped a beat. Deep inside, he knew that he had no children, but the way Kimmy looked at him made him feel like a father.

"Thank you, Kimmy. That’s a very nice thing to say. How I truly wish I had a missing daughter and it should be you." Enzo gently tapped the tip of her cute nose.

)

Kimmy’s crisp giggle bubbled up in the store once again.

"Can I adopt you as my daddy? I will take care of you and buy you anything you want. See. I have a black card here. My spending has no limit!" Kimmy offered him out of the blue, not wanting to end their conversation.
