The TV program "It’s Morning, Philippines" had already started.

Iris Long and her entourage followed the program staff to a reserved dressing room. A television hung on the wall and played the program’s live broadcast.

The language used in the program was mostly Tagalog, especially by the news anchors who reported on the more serious, latest news. The other hosts for the variety segnts, however, used Taglish (a combination of Tagalog and English), especially the younger ones.

Due to Dom and the Chuas’ influence in her life, Iris also learned a little Tagalog. She wasn’t that proficient with the language yet, but she could at least understand most colloquial conversations.

The overall vibe of the program was quite light, casual, and fun. Even the news segnts didn’t focus too much on grave and solemn topics.

She found it interesting.

Waking up early in the morning to watch a show like this would give a happy boost to the viewers to start their days. She was already looking forward to guesting in such a show.

Although her makeup, hair and nails were already done back at the hotel, her glam team still touched her up. She also changed into the dress and shoes chosen just for this show.

There was a knock on the door and in ca Dom followed by the show’s director and so of the mainstay veteran hosts. Both sides greeted each other and chatted.

"It’s the comrcial break right now," the director said. "Finish getting ready and I’ll have my assistant bring you on standby."

"I understand, Director," Iris said.

The veteran female host patted Iris’ shoulder. "Don’t worry, Iris. Everything will be aweso today. We’re all very nice here and won’t ask anything too controversial. But if anything makes you uncomfortable, just look at and blink two tis. I’ll imdiately steer the conversation to a safer, more general topic."

Iris saw the sincerity in the female host’s eyes. "Thank you. How kind of you to do that for . But I’m quite open to answering any question as long as they don’t encroach too much on my family’s privacy and safety."

The director and the hosts grinned. They appreciated her openness which was quite different from most of the celebrities who guested in the program before. Almost all those celebrities were extrely careful about maintaining a certain image. They didn’t know how many instances they had witnessed of celebrities acting one way in front of the caras and imdiately changing into completely different characters when the caras were turned off.

"As much as we want to know the juiciest details about you, we’re not that type of show," the female veteran host said.

Iris chuckled. She liked the vibe of this morning program so far and it hadn’t even started yet! Seeing the casual atmosphere where everyone seed to get along, she appreciated "It’s Morning, Philippines" more and more.

The director paused and listened to soone speaking through his headset. "Okay, we’ll be back there in a minute." He turned to the hosts who accompanied him to the dressing room. "Comrcial break is ending. We need to hurry back."

Everyone said a swift series of "See you later".

Iris, Dom and her entourage continued watching the live broadcast on the television. They also finished getting her ready.

After another comrcial break, a staff mber called for her to stand by. Iris and her team followed the staff mber to the set. Soone equipped her with a Lavalier microphone.

There wasn’t any live audience in the studio.

The "stage" was divided into three areas.

The first area was for the news segnt which consisted of a table and chairs for the news anchors. It was the most formal-looking area on the stage.

The second area consisted of a comfy-looking sofa set and a coffee table complete with a beautiful flower arrangent. It was for the variety-talk show segnts.

The third one was an empty stage where guests could perform or play gas with the hosts.

Iris was finally able to et all of the news anchors and hosts. They were all very welcoming. The younger hosts even acted star-struck in front of her.

It was at this ti that Jin Liwei finally arrived accompanied by just a single bodyguard. He didn’t accompany his wife earlier because Paul Ferrer and Marjorie Chua had invited him to inspect the property developnt company that he invested in.

Iris’ schedule was too packed that she couldn’t squeeze any ti to see Paul and Marjorie’s company. Jin Liwei could only do it by himself. Fortunately, Paul and Marjorie understood her situation. They didn’t mind it at all.

They were already happy that Jin Liwei was able to co. He was the main reason for them being able to take a leap of faith and establish their own property developnt company in the first place. They wanted to show Jin Liwei that he didn’t make a mistake in trusting them with his investnt.

Back to the present, Iris asked him, "You’re back so early?"

Jin Liwei kissed her cheek. "En. I already told Paul and Marjorie that I don’t want my visit to be blown out of proportion. I prefer to be more low-key. I just toured the company, checked a few blueprints, and verified so of the financial reports they showed ."

"You could’ve spent more ti with them," Iris said. "I’m sure that they’re very excited to have you."

"I made it very clear to them beforehand that I ca here to accompany my wife, not to busy myself with business."

She chuckled.

Finally, the comrcial break ended. The hosts sat on the couch and began their introduction.

Host 1: "Today, we have a very special guest! Guess who it is!"

Host 2: "I t her in the dressing room. Oh my! She’s so beautiful in person!"

Host 3: "Let’s not keep our viewers waiting. Ladies and gentlen, please welco to our studio and our country, the international multi-award-winning musician who wrote and sang one of our favourite Chinese the songs, ’Shining Eyes’ and the current music charts topper, ’I, the Drear’, please help welco the one and only—IRIS LONG!!!"

A staff mber guided Iris Long to head to the stage. All the hosts stood up to welco her. They even prepared a gorgeous, big flower bouquet for her. Even the excited cheers of all the staff mbers behind the caras could be heard in the live broadcast.

Iris Long: "Thank you, everyone. Thank you for inviting ! Nice to et all of you. I’m so excited to be here."

Like what the veteran female host promised in the dressing room earlier, nobody asked her any controversial questions. They focused more on the launch of Orchidia Philippines and her music career.

Iris took the ti to actively promote Orchidia Philippines. After all, it was the main reason for her business trip to the Philippines in the first place. All of these scheduled guestings were just extras that Linda Chua thought would help Orchidia’s publicity plan.

Host 1: "I tried Orchidia Beauty products before. I had to ask my friend to buy it for during one of her trips to China. I’m so glad that Orchidia is now in the Philippines!"

Host 2: "Are their products really that good?"

Host 3: "Orchidia Beauty products are the best! I also tried them before. Unfortunately, it was so difficult to buy them from abroad and ship them to the Philippines. When I heard that Orchidia is opening in the Philippines, I almost cried for joy."

Everyone laughed at the third host’s exaggerated words.

Iris Long: "As a token of my gratitude for you inviting here today, I prepared so small presents for all of you. I hope you like them."

Dom and a few staff mbers carried a few baskets filled with products from Orchidia Beauty and special vouchers from Orchidia Baby and Orchidia Mommy. Of course, there were also the perfu samples of "Eve", "Sérénité" and Vaillance by Liberté.

Not only did the hosts receive the gift baskets but also the staff mbers. Linda Chua sent a delivery team to bring the prepared baskets via a truck directly to the studio.

The hosts looked like they just won the lottery. The younger hosts started opening their gift baskets and exclaiming about how aweso the products were. They thanked Iris.

The caras cut to the scene at the control area where the director and the other staff mbers were all similarly acting excited about their own gift baskets.

As much as everyone wanted to spend more ti enjoying their unexpected presents from today’s special guest, they still rembered that they were in a live broadcast. They had no ti to waste.

The hosts quickly regained their composure and continued with the interview.

"May we know who you brought with you here today?"

"Of course." Iris smiled. "I brought my husband, my best friend-slash-assistant, and mbers of my team."

The caras showed a close-up shot of Jin Liwei. His cold and indifferent but handso face made almost everyone’s breaths hitch. He was too gorgeous! Not to ntion that he was a legitimate billionaire!

Thankfully, the cara only showed Jin Liwei for a couple of seconds before moving on to Dom.

"My best friend-slash-assistant is a proud Filipino," Iris added. "His na is Dominic Chua."

Dom grinned and waved both hands at the cara. Soone gave him a microphone.

The hosts chatted with him briefly while he stayed behind the scenes.

After another quick chat with Iris, the program went on another comrcial break.

Then Iris started to prepare for her live performance. She had no rehearsals in this studio prior to today, but she wasn’t nervous at all.
