"I know that all of you are busy yet still made the ti to join in celebrating my wife's achievent," Jin Liwei said in a powerful voice. "Thank you, everyone, for coming today. My wife's coback song, 'I, the Drear', has been years in the making. I'm eternally grateful to her for sacrificing a few years of pursuing her showbiz dreams to marry and bear beautiful children. I've been living in constant joy and bliss with her and our family, but now that she's ready to step out into the showbiz world again, I'll do everything to support her with everything I have. And I know that all of you feel the sa way.

She's a constant inspiration to because she showed that a person can balance work and personal life well. "She'll release more singles soon, and eventually her full album. I hope that all of us here tonight can continue to help her music beco legendary. We all know how talented she is. She'll surely reach all of her dreams."
He looked at his wife in the eyes, conveying to her how much he loved and believed in her.
"You are my light. I won't be half the man that I've beco today without you. Here I am, here we are telling you to go ahead and pursue your dreams without any worries. No matter the challenges, no matter the setbacks, we'll always have your back. And whenever you have any triumph, we'll celebrate them with you just like today."
Iris Long's eyes watered. "Thank you."
Then she reached for his shoulders, stood on her tippy-toes, and then kissed him in front of everyone.
Dom led everyone in cheering.
Then the husband and wife felt two small cannons hitting and hugging their legs.
"Mama, dada! Yah yah!" (Mommy, Daddy! Kiss , too!)
"Ma, Da! Uh!" (Mommy, Daddy! , too!)
Iris glanced down at her twins and laughed. She bent down and carried Little Mochi while Jin Liwei carried Little Matcha. Then the husband and wife also kissed their sons.
Ice Cream and Popcorn followed their human baby brothers. The two cats, one fat and one agile, rubbed themselves against their parents' legs. Pudding and Chowder, the twins' guard dogs, also positioned themselves on either side of the family, fulfilling their duties while at the sa ti declaring to everyone that they were also part of the family.
Unseen by the others, Ketchup and Bacon were watching everything that was happening at the party. Due to their sensitive identity as extrely powerful artificial intelligence beings, they couldn't openly join their family. Nevertheless, they didn't feel left out at all. Those who were aware of their identities accepted them with whole hearts and even helped in concealing any information about them.
All they knew was that they were their mother and father's children just like their siblings. And they would protect their family from any enemies no matter what.
Iris addressed their guests next.
"I can't possibly express how grateful and happy I am that all of you ca today. Seeing all of you, especially the children, makes feel that all the hard work I'm doing is worth it. I want the children to see first-hand and to realize that although they've been born into a life of privilege just like , it still takes discipline, hard work, a clear vision, and of course a tight-knit group of family and friends who support them to be able to achieve their dreams in the most fulfilling way possible."
She looked at Jin Liwei.
"Thank you, Liwei. You say that because of , you beca a better man and a better person. Well, I'll also say sothing, so please listen. I also beca a better woman and a better person because of you and the family you gave . Before, all I could think about was my own future. But now, you've expanded my vision by creating a beautiful family with . I beca a mother to our children, the greatest gifts I've ever received in my existence. But before that, I'll always be your wife, and you'll always be my husband."
Jin Liwei's eyes softened.
The depths of his love and devotion for the woman standing beside him couldn't be possibly explained in just a few simple words. It would take a lifeti, perhaps even more, to show her that his love for her was true and endless.
"Big Bro, Sister Xiulan, can we start eating now?" an annoying voice interrupted the touching atmosphere. "I'm starving—ouch! Babe, why did you kick my leg?!"
Chen Fei wanted to remove her shoe and hit his head with it. Then she looked around and gave everyone an apologetic smile. "Sorry, everyone! Please excuse this childish diva man!"
Jin Chonglin bristled upon hearing his fiancée calling him a "diva man".
He was a world-famous manly man whose iconic smile was enough to cause imaginary pregnancies! He, Prince Lin Lin, refused to accept being associated with the term "diva"!
"Now, babe, listen—"
His mouth automatically closed itself when he saw his fiancée glaring at him.
Hmph!
He wasn't afraid of his woman. Not at all! He just didn't want to argue with her in front of so many people. He was a mature and understanding fiancé.
What could he do?
The wife he chose for himself was a fierce one. Even fiercer than his brother's wife!

There was one thing that Long Xiulan couldn't beat Chen Fei. Long Xiulan might be savage, but when it ca to having a poison-tongue that didn't have any filters at all including foul language, Chen Fei had her beat hands-down.

Jin Chonglin enjoyed having the upper hand over his big brother. He, Prince Lin Lin, had a better wife when it ca to cursing people out.
If others could hear his thoughts, they would surely roll their eyes at him. Was that sothing to be proud of?
Even when they couldn't hear his ridiculous thoughts, they still couldn't help but roll their eyes upon seeing him suddenly giggling like a lunatic after being scolded by his fiancée.
Huang Yuyan looked at her youngest son with resignation. She would never have expected that her Little Chonglin who loved to show off as a child and grew up into a womanizing serial heart-breaker would eventually turn into a masochistic submissive husband to his wife.
How embarrassing it was as a mother to watch her son giggling like a lovesick fool after being kicked by his wife? If they were like this in front of other people, she couldn't imagine, no, she DIDN'T want to imagine what the two were like behind closed doors.
However, Huang Yuyan was still thankful for Chen Fei's presence in her youngest son's life.
Jin Chonglin had been living the life of a Casanova for so many years. Nobody could control him. The last ti she tried almost ruined their family as his forr fiancée turned out to be an attempted murderer who almost murdered her current daughter-in-law, Long Xiulan.
Thank goodness that Xiulan had survived. If not, then her eldest son, Liwei, wouldn't have beco a happily married man and father.
While Huang Yuyan worried about her youngest son, the others chose not to comnt. After all, this party wasn't about Jin Chonglin but his sister-in-law, Iris Long.
Jin Liwei's face turned dark and cold. He wanted to swallow his own younger brother and spit him out without the bones.
"Calm down," his wife whispered.
"Da?" Little Matcha tapped his cheek.
"Dada! Dada!" Little Mochi also waved his little arms at him.
Jin Liwei caught himself and managed to regain control of his temper thanks to his family.
Although he was still irritated, at least Chen Fei was there to control the unruly Jin Chonglin. He would leave his brother to his future sister-in-law.
After this brief episode of interruption, Iris and Jin Liwei finally signalled for everyone to start dinner.
As their usual preferred dining style during gatherings, dinner was prepared in buffet style.
Everyone loosely lined up while chatting with each other.
The children, cats and dogs began playing with each other. They already ate before the party officially started so that the adults didn't have to worry about feeding them during the actual party.
Jiang Ying Yue and Lin Yehan caught up with Iris and Jin Liwei.
"I heard that you're going to the Philippines soon," Lin Yehan said.
"Yes," Iris replied while keeping her eyes on the children running around. "My itinerary is already set."
"Can I join you?" Lin Yehan asked.
Both Iris and Jin Liwei looked at him.
"I want to enter a partnership with an agricultural trading company in the Philippines," he explained. "I think that the ti is right to venture in that area."
Iris looked at her husband. She wasn't familiar with the agricultural sector, so she couldn't comnt about it much.
"En." Jin Liwei nodded after a few monts of contemplation. "I think that your idea is feasible."
