The way he was acting just pissed her off thoroughly as she raised her brow and harrumphed. “Of course! We’re getting engaged, so how could we not have slept together yet?”

Qian Xun raised her chin and cleared her throat. “Why should I tell you sothing like that?”

Lu Yanzhi smiled in a fake way. “Even though you weren’t the one who did it, it was because of you. Let give you a piece of advice... Don’t let him know about your relationship with the Lu Family, or you will be nothing but a chess piece in his hands.”
With that, he backed off slowly.
Qian Xun was still glaring at him, replying in scorn, “Who has anything to do with the Lus?”
He rely watched her coldly, his gaze feeling like a frozen tundra with a face that was equally frosty. Pursing his lips to a thin line, he said nothing more and walked toward his car.

She then slamd the door fiercely.
Leaning with her back against the door, her body felt as though it was filled with lead. Every single step she took was extrely heavy as she finally reached the sofa and sat down with a thud, burying her face in her hands.
Leaning back on the sofa, she looked up at the ceiling and thought back about that fateful holiday engagent.
