Tiana hugged him close, burying her head in his neck.
''you can talk to , okay? What is the problem? ''
She was quiet for a second and then she whispered; ''can you not go to work today? ''
Nicklaus was dumbfounded at her request; he raised his eyes to look at her, a shocked expression on his face;
''uh? ''
Tiana gulped, looking down at her fingers; ''I just don't feel good today, can you stay here with ? I don't know why I feel like sothing bad is going to happen… ''
Nicklaus smiled, then he raised his hand to wipe her tears; ''co here;'' he said, hugging her again;
''you could have just asked to stay, you didn't have to cry. ''
He chuckled when he felt her arms go around him and hug him like he was going to disappear the next minute;
''I thought you wouldn't listen, I've been worrying so much lately, so I thought you would just tell not to worry. '' Tiana said ekly, her head in his chest.
''Haha, I'll always listen to you, if you have a bad feeling about today, then I'll stay ho, I don't want you getting unnecessarily bothered, okay? ''
''thank you, I love you. '' Tiana smiled and hugged him again;
''Love you too, now go shower so we can have breakfast. '' Nicklaus said and she nodded, standing up from the bed she hurried into the bathroom happily. Now she felt so relieved. After the shower, they had breakfast and Nicklaus offered to teach her how to handle a gun.
''Wow, I can't believe this is happening! '' Tiana giggled as they walked outside, with him carrying the gun bag;
''you seem very excited; it's not as easy as you think. '' He laughed when she saw how anxious she looked. The last thing he wanted was for her to handle a rifle but right now, he did not have a choice.
''tch, I've watched it in movies; it can't be scarier than that. ''
Nicklaus chuckled as he placed the gun bag on a table in the field as the guards set the targets'
Tiana stood by his side as she watched him take out the gun from the case;
''Woah!'' she exclaid, this was actually the first ti she had seen a gun up close;
''This is a semi-automatic pistol, when you fire, the recoil energy moves backward, in the opposite direction of the bullet's travel, and that recoil energy is captured and used to extract the spent case, re-cocking the pistol and loading a new cartridge into the magazine. ''
Tiana didn't understand what he ant by the cartridge and magazine but she figured it might an the bullet holder and maybe the case for it;
''Now the problem cos with how you hold the gun; hold it; ''
He said giving her the gun; Tiana took it from his hand, her eyes wide open;
''Wow, quite heavy… '' she comnted, aiming it as though she was about to shoot;
''See, you got that wrong; '' Nicklaus said, stopping her hand mid-way; ''if you hold it like this, your hand will definitely get cut when the slide moves back during cycling. You have to grip the pistol so that you don't cross your thumbs across the back of the gun. '' Nicklaus stood behind her showing her how to hold the gun;
''your support-hand thumb should be on the sa side as your support-hand fingers so that it's out of the way. ''
''Wow, my husband is so smart! I think I'm tripping all over again; '' Tiana grinned, rubbing her backside on his groin; Nicklaus felt his stomach heating up;
''Wife, can you concentrate; '' He wasn't even sure if she was listening to anything he was saying; she would be more serious if he told a guard to teach her but she wouldn't even hear of it.
''Okay, okay, I'm serious now, what were you saying? '' She said, turning back to the gun;
''What did I say last? '' Nicklaus asked;
''Um, you said… uh, can you co again, I didn't get you. '' Tiana grinned sheepishly at him and Nicklaus sighed; she wasn't even listening to him, today was going to be a long day.
He started all over again and taught her everything she needed to know. She joked most of the ti but when she beca hungry and Nicklaus said she wasn't going to have anything to eat until she had learned the basics, she beca serious and learned it in minutes.
After lunch, he taught her how to unload and load a cartridge, it was a critical step so he begged her to pay attention and thankfully she listened. Then he taught her how to fire; Tiana was so scared that she was actually shooting with a real gun.
She scread once the first bullet ca out; now she really believed Nicklaus when he said it wasn't as easy as it seed.
After much practice, she was a bit learned. Now she could fire with one hand. When Nicklaus saw she was good, they went back inside.
Night ca quickly and they retired to bed;
Tiana woke up the next day before Nicklaus. And again, she wasn't feeling good about the day, but this ti she held herself, there was no way she could continue preventing him from going to work simply because she had a feeling that sothing bad was going to happen to him.
When he woke up, they showered together; she didn't have anything to do at the company so she was staying ho again.
''Be safe, okay? ''
Tiana said as she helped him do his button;
''Okay. ''
She beca silent for a mont;
''If possible order lunch, I don't want you going out unnecessarily. ''
''Alright ''
''And don't leave your guards, okay? ''
Nicklaus sighed and pulled her into his arms; ''Wifey, you worry too much; nothing is going to happen to . ''
He kissed her severally on the neck and then kissed her lips; ''I'll be back early today, before you fall sick from excessive worry. ''
Tiana laughed; ''haha, don't mind ; just co back when you're done with work. ''
''Hmm; '' Nicklaus said, kissing her deeply before they finally let go of each other.
