Chapter 210- Paying Them A Visit

LOGAN’S POV

I swung the bathroom door open and stord out like I was on fire.

"What do you an you can’t find it on my phone?" I asked, fuming. "Isn’t it in my ssages?"

Dad didn’t answer.

He just stood there, holding my phone like it was a bomb he didn’t know how to defuse.

"Why aren’t you saying anything?" I pressed, staring at him.

That’s when I noticed sothing was... off.

He wasn’t looking at the phone anymore.

He was looking straight at . Not my face—nope. Just... .

His eyes were wide. His brows were raised like he was holding in a whole speech.

It hit a second later.

Oh. My. God.

I wasn’t wearing anything.

Like, nothing.

I looked down at my body, and my whole soul almost jumped out of .

"FUCK," I scread, practically tripping over my own feet as I tried to cover myself with my hands. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!"

How did I forget? HOW?

My face turned red so fast I could feel my skin burn. I had just run out of the bathroom completely naked—like I was in a damn horror movie, and clothes didn’t matter.

I clutched my hands over my dick and looked back at Dad with the kind of sha that could kill a person.

"Why didn’t you say sothing?!" I shouted at him, my voice squeaky from the panic. "Why didn’t you tell I was—naked?!"

Dad blinked. Then he arched one of his brows and said, "Logan... what the fuck were you thinking running out of the bathroom butt-naked?"

His voice was full of disbelief.

"You didn’t even grab a towel," he added, folding his arms like he was about to lecture .

"I forgot, okay?!" I snapped, half dying inside. "I forgot because I was upset! You said the address was gone and I panicked!"

He stared at , then started laughing. Not loudly—but that annoying kind of laugh that shakes their shoulders silently and makes your embarrassnt ten tis worse.

I groaned and turned away, still holding myself like a newborn baby ashad of being born.

"Oh God. Did—" My voice dropped, "Did my little sister see ?"

I closed my eyes in horror. If she saw , I would bury myself alive.

"She didn’t," Dad said quickly, like he already knew what I was thinking. "She left to go get dressed when you entered the bathroom. She said she wants to follow us."

I exhaled deeply, relief flooding .

Thank God.

I was quiet for a mont, trying to calm my pulse and lower my sha level from ’1000’ to at least ’999’.

Then I glared at him again.

"You still didn’t say anything. You saw co out like this, and you just... froze?"

He raised a brow again and gave the most sarcastic smirk I’ve ever seen.

"Who told you that you ran out here naked?" he asked.

"What?! YOU did!" I yelled.

"Exactly," he shrugged. "So why are you yelling at like your ancestors whispered it to you from the spirit world?"

I squinted at him, annoyed.

Typical him.

Always sarcastic when he knows he’s wrong.

"You could’ve told the second I stepped out," I argued, my voice still filled with embarrassnt. "If you had told right away, I would’ve dashed back inside."

He rolled his eyes. "I did tell you, Logan. Or did you not hear shout your na while you were still staring at like a deer caught in headlights?"

I opened my mouth to argue—then closed it.

Damn it. He had a point.

"...Okay, maybe you did," I muttered under my breath, slowly backing toward the bathroom door like I was trying to reverse out of my own humiliation. "But next ti... shout louder or sothing."

He laughed again, shaking his head.

"Next ti," he said, "put so damn pants on before sprinting out like you’re in an action movie."

I didn’t bother arguing with him anymore. What was the point?

It would just waste my ti, and honestly, I was too tired—ntally, emotionally, and now physically since I was still standing there naked with one hand covering my junk.

I rolled my eyes dramatically and walked toward him, my other hand stretched out a little to keep balance. I was now standing right in front of him, still red in the face but pretending like I wasn’t one second away from dying of embarrassnt.

He held out the phone for to check sothing.

I froze and blinked at him like he’d just asked to solve math without a calculator.

Was this man okay?

I stared at him, then looked down at myself, then back at him again.

"What hand do you expect to use to check the phone?" I asked him with eyes full of pure rage. "This one?" I lifted my elbow, keeping the rest of the arm locked in place, still guarding the only shred of dignity I had left.

He looked at for a second, then his eyes widened as realization hit him like a slap.

"Oh—oh damn. Sorry. I didn’t think," he said quickly, pulling the phone back with an apologetic look.

Typical.

I sighed and pointed at the screen with my chin. "Just check the ssages again. Properly this ti."

He nodded and started scrolling. I leaned over slightly to peek at the screen while still holding myself like a traumatized statue.

We scrolled. We searched. We even opened old chats and random folders.

Nothing.

No address. No ssage. No trace of the conversation.

My heart dropped a little.

"He probably deleted it," I said quietly, the sadness wrapping around my words like a blanket.

Dad didn’t let the silence hang for too long. "It doesn’t matter, Logan," he said, trying to sound confident. "We can still get it back. All we have to do is call Tyler’s dad and ask him to resend the address. Just tell him we want to pay them a visit, and I’m sure he’ll send it."

He looked so sure, so calm. Like everything could be fixed just by dialing a number.

But I shook my head slowly.

"No, Dad. That’s not going to work."

"Why not?" he asked, his brows furrowing.

"Because the second Tyler hears we’re coming, he’ll disappear. You know how he is—he’ll find a way to run or hide. I don’t want him to have ti to escape. I want to see him. Face to face. He needs to see . To know what he lost. I don’t want him ducking behind walls or calling his mom to lie."

Dad paused, then sighed. "You’re right."

"Of course, I’m right. He’s a coward. Always has been," I muttered under my breath, bitterness clinging to every word.

Just then, sothing clicked in my mind.

A spark. A little jolt of hope.

I smiled.

Not just a small smile—a full, victorious grin that made Dad stop and stare.

"Why are you smiling like that?" he asked, suspicious as always.

I looked at him like I was about to pull off the heist of the year.

"Because," I said proudly, "I just rembered sothing."

He waited, one brow raised, already preparing for whatever chaos was about to co out of my mouth.

"You know, I set my phone so that when ssages get deleted, they go to the Recently Deleted folder for three days before they’re gone forever."

I paused for dramatic effect.

"That ans the ssage... might still be there."

Dad’s face lit up like a kid who just found out school was canceled.

"That’s brilliant!" he said, finally smiling with .

But then, like always, he had to ruin the mont with logic.

"What if Tyler knew that too?" he asked, his voice dropping a bit. "What if he went back and deleted it from there as well?"

I looked at him like he was a toddler trying to explain rocket science.

"Dad... he didn’t even know I had that setting turned on. Trust , he’s not that smart."

He snorted and nodded slowly. "Fair enough."

"Exactly," I said, puffing my chest a little—even though I was still very much naked.
