Chapter 114- A Web of Lies
She gasped. "Sir, please—"
"You aren't getting spared."
Tears welled up in her eyes, but I didn't care. My rage burned too hot for sympathy.
"How can you be so foolish? So dumb? A stranger walks into my house, and instead of questioning him, instead of making a call to , what do you do?
You strip down and bend over for him to give you backshots?"
The house help sobbed, shaking her head.
"Are you that cheap? Or are you stupid? Because I'm finding it really hard to understand which one it is."
"No, sir Logan! That's not how it happened!" she cried.
I folded my arms, waiting.
She sniffled, gathering herself before speaking. "I was in the kitchen, cleaning up after your dad left. Then I heard soone in the living room.
I went to check and saw him." Her eyes flickered toward Lucas, full of fear. "I asked him what he was doing here, because I know I didn't leave the door open.
He told he was your cousin. That he was also your best friend.
He said that's why he had a key."
My jaw tightened.
Lucas was good. A pathological liar.
"I didn't argue," she continued, wiping at her tears, "because it sounded believable. And... well, he had the key, so I thought it was true.
When I finished cleaning, I went to the living room. He started a conversation, and I didn't want to be rude, so I responded."
I felt my blood boiling.
"He seed so nice," she whimpered. "Then he asked for a drink. I wanted to get it for him, but he insisted.
He went to the kitchen and poured himself a glass. Then he poured one for , too."
A sharp, sinking feeling settled in my gut.
"I refused," she whispered. "But he insisted. He kept smiling, kept saying it was just a drink.
I drank it.
And the rest is... history."
Her hands trembled.
"I—I don't even know how it all happened."
My breath hitched. I felt my entire body go rigid.
I took a slow step forward, my voice dangerously low.
"Are you telling it wasn't consensual?"
Her lip quivered. "That's the thing... I don't know."
Sothing inside snapped.
I turned to Lucas, my vision blurring with rage.
That bastard.
That fucking bastard.
Lucas simply shrugged.
Then, in the most sickening, mocking tone, he said,
"You see, Logan house help, or whoever you are...
The one thing I will never tolerate—
Is lies."
"Weren't you the one who seduced ?"
His eyes glead with cruelty.
"You... horny, wretched bitch."
The house help let out a shaky breath. "N-No! That's not—"
"WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!!" I exploded, my voice cracking as I turned to both of them.
"What the fuck is happening here?! Who seduced who?!"
"She's lying," Lucas said flatly, adjusting his belt with a bored look. "I was minding my business, and she ca onto ."
I turned back to the house help, my rage boiling over. "Is that true?!"
Her lip trembled. "No! I—I thought he was your cousin, and after I drank the drink he gave , I—I don't rember what happened next! But this is what I rember now!"
I clenched my fists so hard my nails dug into my palm.
I knew she was lying.
She was fucking lying.
Lucas wasn't perfect—not even close. But there was one thing about him I knew.
He would never—I an never—sleep with anyone without their consent.
I sucked in a sharp breath, my patience snapping in half.
"Would you fucking say the truth about what really happened this very instant," I growled, "or should I throw your dirty ass out of this house right now?"
Her eyes widened in horror.
"You have thirty seconds to explain. Lie to again, and you can kiss your job goodbye."
I crossed my arms, waiting.
She swallowed hard, her hands trembling, and then—
She started talking.
But her story changed.
She started saying things differently, twisting her words, backtracking, stamring.
She was lying.
A bloody big lie.
And she had the audacity to think I was a fool.
Lucas watched her with a lazy smirk, shaking his head in amusent.
I felt my anger reach its peak.
I wasn't angry because she had sex.
I was fucking furious because she had sex with soone she had known for less than five hours.
Five fucking hours.
Barely five hours, and her legs were already on his shoulders, moaning his na like her damn life depended on it.
Did she, for even one minute, stop to think that Lucas might have STD's? Or any other fucking infection?
She didn't even know.
I made sure she go for inspection every two months
I made sure she was clean before I ever laid a finger on her.
And yet, here she was, spreading her legs for soone she didn't even know—without protection.
A fucking protection.
Condoms aren't even expensive, but what did she say?
Oh no, I don't want to use condoms. I prefer flesh to flesh.
I mocked her, my voice dripping with disgust.
She didn't care if he was a carrier. She didn't care if she was putting herself at risk.
She just let him in, raw.
Lucas, on the other hand, stood there smirking like the devil himself.
I was trying—really fucking trying—to hold myself back.
Because I knew if I let go, I would do sothing I'd regret forever.
I would kill him.
And I would spend the rest of my life rotting in a prison cell.
That was the only reason I was trying to stay calm.
But this bloody toxic ex-boyfriend of mine and my stupid house help were pushing to the edge.
I turned to Lucas.
I didn't give a shit about what he had to say.
Because, really—who would?
Everything that ca out of his mouth was pure fucking lies.
So they could keep their twisted little story to themselves.
The only thing that mattered was that they fucked.
I stretched out my hand toward Lucas, my voice cold.
"Give the key."
Lucas cocked his head to the side, a smug grin playing on his lips.
Then he spoke.
"Did you forget sothing, Logan?" His smirk widened. "Your father loves just as much as he loves you."
That hit like a bullet straight to the chest.
Because it was true.
My father loved Lucas.
He didn't just care about him—he prioritized him.
Treated him like his own son.
I let out a sharp, maniac laugh.
"That was in the past," I sneered. "My father listens to now. And if I tell him to throw your cheating, toxic ass out of this house, guess what?
It's gonna happen."
Lucas's smirk twitched.
For the first ti, I saw a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes.
But he masked it just as fast.
He still thought my father would take his side.
I turned to the house help, my patience long gone.
"Get the fuck out of my sight."
She didn't even argue.
She just scurried off, so desperate to leave that she forgot this was her own damn room.
Lucas sighed, rolling his shoulders before he lazily started putting on his clothes.
One by one, he buttoned up his shirt, took his sweet ti slipping into his jeans.
Then, once he was dressed, he started walking toward .
His lips curled into that sa cocky smile, and for a second, I already knew what he was about to do.
He was about to flirt.
The mont he opened his mouth, I snapped.
My fist connected with his nose, the impact cracking through the air.
Blood splattered imdiately.
Lucas stumbled back with a sharp grunt, clutching his face.
I shoved him out of the room with full force, sending him crashing into the hallway.
Then, before he could even process what was happening, I grabbed him again and pushed him down the stairs.
He tumbled, cursing, knocking into the steps as he went down.
By the ti we reached the living room, he was breathing heavily, his hand still covering his nose.
Then, in the most casual tone ever, he turned to and asked,
"...Does your father know you like n?"
