Eva had no words to speak as she looked at the person calling her by her old title. She was sure that no one except those who knew her from her past life knew about her title so she was shocked to see that soone else also knew it.
"Who are you?" Eva asked while slowly advancing forward as she had her guard up for traps. She also had tal acting as her line of defense and line of attack.
"Who I am is not important. The important thing is that you are here and we can discuss things here." The person replied as the three dukes of the Julius Empire ca to stand behind him.
"Ok…" Eva replied as she stared vary of the three dukes and tried not tomake any sudden movents.
She was sure that the movent she acted as though she was about to attack, they would rush forward without the person's commands and would try to kill her.
Eva wasn't prepared for that as she knew that she couldn't handle three dukes plus an entire army at her current level.
[ Or you can just leave everything to . ] Gajee nodded as Eva smiled and nodded.
Together, they made their way in front of the army and stood directly in front of the person. Since the person was wearing a mask and was speaking in a muffled voice, Eva couldn't tell what was his or her gender.
She just decided to refer to him as the person and get on with it. She was waited a few minutes for sothing to happen before questioning the person on her.
"Why do you have that army behind you and what do you want to accomplish."
"The army behind is here to battle you and and the kingdom and ravage it all to the ground. My goal is to just fulfill the wishes of my boss and nothing else. Anything else that you want to ask?"
"…" Eva was left speechless with the person's casual reply as she wondered whether she had been too quick in judging him or her.
'Gajeel, be prepared for so kind of ambush.' However, she said sothing different aloud. "Then why did you tell that when I can basically be your enemy and started attacking you now."
"Well, I am here to strike a deal with you as I know that there is a one percent possibility that you might just win this thing. I don't want to play on that gamble so are you ready to hear the deal?"
"You definitely got curious so please go ahead." Eva replied politely as she knew that it was important to be calm headed during business deals.
"I will leave you and your friends alone if you let and my armies defeat the kingdom and gain supremacy over it. That doesn't sound too bad of a deal, does it?"
"No, my answer is no." Eva imdiately replied as the person didn't looked affected.
"I see that nothing can make you change your decision so I will not waste my ti trying. Let's see how long can you face an army like this for." The person replied before vanishing from the place.
Eva suddenly flew back as she saw the three dukes give her angry looks. Even though she couldn't see their faces, she was sure that they were glaring at her.
'Gajeel, co out and attack them separately.' Eva said to the dragon inside her as Gajeel imdiately separated from her body and moved forward to attack the army.
Eva thought that with the dragon's help, things were going to be much easier but little did she know that the opposite side also had dragons, one big and one small.
"So you are the renowned king of steel dragons, known to control all the tals." A voice suddenly echoed around the entire battlefield as a blue Chinese dragon suddenly dived down from the sky.
Along it ca multiple gale storms that blew away many undead from the army thus surprising Eva. She wondered whether the blue dragon was on her side or on the side of the army since its actions said otherwise.
"And you are the Azure dragon…" Gajeel muttered while looking down before he flew high above the ground and turned into his human form. "Don't tell golden is here too."
"You are the dragon king of tals so why are you asking . You should know better whether he is here or not." The blue dragon replied as Gajeel stared down at the ground and used his powers to see through the ground.
He used his powers to search out for the drgaon and found the golden dragon to be at the bottom of the ground. Gajeel imdiately used his powers to open the ground but didn't touch the undead army.
He knew that the Golden dragon would do sothing against him and the cracks would not open. So instead, Gajeel turned his attention towards Eva.
[ Eva, be careful. These two dragons are famous dragon from Chinese myths just like how Lance is a Vermilion Phoenix. They are too strong for too so I suggest that you run away and try to find so help. ]
'If you say that you can't win, then I don't even stand a chance.' Eva replied with a sigh as see suddenly rose in the air
She looked in the direction of the palace before taking off at full speed and using her montum to fly away. Eva knew that it was going to be hard for her to reach the capital back and get so help but it was her only hope.
But before she could move away, she felt one of her own tals wrapping around her body and constraining her as a golden dragon flew out of the ground.
"So she is the tal controller and a vessel for you huh." The dragon muttered in an impressed tone.
"Why did I have to battle you both. You are the perfect counters to ." Gajeel muttered while staring at the sky while wondering whether the entire thing had been scripted.
He released a sigh before turning to look at Eva who had been completely bound. Both of them used their powers in hopes of freeing her but nothing seed to be working,
The answer was pretty simple. Both of the dragons had a much high level of influence as compared to Gajeel since they were much more famous.
Both of them had widespread myths used throughout the history while Gajeel was not as famous as them. In fact, he was only popular due to a certain thing otherwise he would have been long forgotten too.
"Don't look at us like that. Let's fight and see for ourselves how strong you are." The golden dragon replied with a grin as he soar through the air and spread its wings wide apart.
The dragon then turned to stare towards Eva before shifting his focus to Gajeel.
The king of steel dragons strengthened his nerves as he was ready to fight again. For the ti being, he was pitted against one of the strongest Earth type dragons where Eva's life and the lives of million other humans was on his shoulder.
Gajeel used this to fuel his next attack as a steel dragon version of him shot out from in front of him and reached out towards both the dragon.
Azure and Golden looked at each other before grinning and raising their claws in the incoming dragon's direction together.
'If that's all you got, your na is over glorified. You are just weak to begin with and can't even deal a scratch to us." Golden muttered as with the flick of his and Azure's claw, the tal dragon shattered and fell down.
Little did they know that it was Gajeel trick as he flew forward, wrapped in the sa armor as the one he had on during the fight against Zack and the group in the real world.
Except this ti, Gajeel was using his human form as he didn't feel comfortable in fighting in his dragon form. He was sure that the other two dragons would hit him in the weakest points a dragon had and being a human gave him more mobility to move around.
Gajeel then summoned multiple spears made from the sa kind of tal and used them to pierce the dragon from all sides while he himself dived forward with a dozen such spears rotating around him.
Azure and Golden once again stood in their spots as they let the spears pierce them. Contrary to Gajeel's expectations, the spears broke down on coming in contact with the dragons' massive bodies.
The two of them yawned and suddenly changed into human sized version of themselves before smiling at Gajeel.
"What did you think would happen?" Azure asked as he raised his palm in Gajeel's direction and white balls of gale shot out of his palm.
They destroyed the spears one by one before directly hitting Gajeel in the chest and breaking his armor. The king of steel dragons then felt a blow land on his chest as he flew down and crashed with the ground.
"You are very weak and weak people don't live for long. Despite what boss told us, we are going to kill you and that woman anyways. After all, soone else would do it in the future if we don't do it."
Golden muttered and raised both of his hands as the tal around Gajeel's body contracted around his neck. The sa thing happened with Eva as the two started struggling to breath.
[ I am sorry, Eva… ]
'I am sorry too…'
The two of them closed their eyes and rembered the ones they held dear. But before they could choke, a voice echoed around the entire area.
"You have done enough. Now leave the rest to us." Hark's voice suddenly resounded around as he flew through the air with black and white hair and one black and one white eye. "Break through the heavens, Ruyi Jingu Bang!"
