Zack and Hayden on the other rushed to the garbage dump and jumped inside the green dumpster.
They imdiately took out their weapons and kept their skills on the ready. Zack held Eirias in his hands while Chastiefol floated beside him.
His face was grim as he rembered that it was due to Eirias that he was attacked. The sword was a curse as well as a blessing.
Hayden on the other hand had a silver axe in his hands, the edge glowing black.
"Where did you get that?" Zack asked casually as they appeared in Hayden's office.
The entire place looked untouched yet not even a single spec of dust was visible anywhere. This was one of the special abilities of the place.
"This appeared in my inventory after I woke up from my sleep," Hayden then paused as he stared at the axe. "It's apparently a pseudo-legendary axe."
Zack's raised his eyebrows in surprise but didn't say anything. After all, a white light had appeared around the elevator, opening up to show hundreds of players rushing inside.
Hayden and Zack looked at each other as the players gave them a confused look. They then seed to be taken back as they realized who the two dudes standing in front of them.
"Now you better start talking and tell what is happening." Hayden suddenly said as he raised his axe in the air.
"Or be burned or be pierced to death. The choice is yours." Zack replied with a grin as Eirias suddenly caught fire due to soone in the group belonging to the dark side.
,m The players shuddered as they wondered why they tried so hard to get inside the room. They thought that entering the room would make them the ruler so when the door of the elevator had suddenly opened up, they rushed inside.
However, two devils were waiting for them on the other side.
'Why do I feel as though I have said the sa thing with him nurous tis?'
Both Zack and Hayden thought the sa thing as they glanced at each other. They then decided to show the players that what they said would co true and used their powers.
Zack swung Eirias forward as blue flas traveled from the blade of the sword. It burned bright blue and ravaged all the gathered players.
Many of them directly faced the wrath of the flas and scread at the pain they were experiencing before they died.
Hayden on the other hand used his axe and struck the ground with it. Black vines appeared from the spot and rushed forward.
The vine penetrated the bodies of many players thus making them feel extre pain before killing them. The hundreds of players had been shortened down to a group of fifty players.
The remaining decided that they would rather take a painless death than suffer from the sa things.
Zack and Hayden's strategy would have failed a few months ago as the pain was reduced inside the ga. However, the pain felt in Hikari was the sa felt in real life which made people vary.
After an hour of interrogation, Zack used his flas to give all the remaining players a painless death before staring at Hayden.
"What should we do now?" Hayden asked as he had learned that the entire underworld was in a war of supremacy between three candidates running for the position of the ruler.
One of them was Neji which shocked Zack even more. There was no knowing what would happen if he went to et him but it was a good chance to remove the chaos.
He then relayed his plan to Hayden who nodded. Since Zack knew Neji, there was a chance that he would help them in exchange for Hayden giving him a high position.
The only problem was that Neji's headquarters were situated in the prison of the place, making it extrely difficult for them to find him.
Even Hayden couldn't detect him on the first try so he decided to note down certain cell numbers where he felt powerful auras coming from and decided to visit all of them.
Zack agreed to the plan as they entered the elevator and went down to cell no. 69. There, they were t with six fat n who looked as though they would eat each other if it ant they could leave the place.
When Zack and Hayden learned about their cris, they didn't bother with anything and just killed them outright.
They then went to a few more cells before arriving at their third last destination, cell number 420.
"I guess we arrived at the right place," Zack comnted as he and Hayden were imdiately bombarded with explosion spells the mont the door of the elevator opened up.
Zack casually shook them away using hydro pump and his flas. He realized that the skills no longer had a cooldown as they were solely based on mana.
'I should keep track of my mana in case I run out.' Zack thought before he and Hayden stepped forward.
This ti, they were attacked with lightning bolts and Zack used Chastiefol's subform to block all the attacks.
"Chill guys, we are just here to et Neji. This here is the ruler of the underworld anyways." Zack said while pointing towards Hayden.
The barrage of attacks suddenly ended, allowing Zack and Hayden to see that they were standing in a cell the size of a soccer field.
There was a small reinforced earth structure in the middle of the place with a flag with a symbol showing a flying eagle planted at the top of the place.
That was the symbol of Neji's faction and all of his team mbers were there to see it. However, all of them paused when they noticed the aura coming out of Hayden's body.
The ruler of the underworld then snatched their weapons using his title before stopping them from using mana.
Just when he was done, a voice rose from the direction of the structure. A young man with black hair and deep black eyes was calmly walking toward them.
"Hello Zack, I am Ken, otherwise known as Neji. Please leave before I am forced to kill you."
