Eva and Mia stood at the door of the room as they looked inside at the four humans. Both of their hands moved to each other's cheeks and pulled hard.
Eva and Mia yelped at the sa ti as they rubbed their cheeks and stared at the quartet once again.
Zack was at a loss for words as he had no idea what he should say and what he was supposed to do. Even though only a few minutes, an hour at most, had passed for him and the other three, six months had passed for Eva and Mia.
"Can I punch you to see whether you are real?" Mia asked before shaking her head. "Scratch that, I will just punch you and tell you that later."
As though she was moving at the speed of light, Mia imdiately appeared in front of Zack with her right hand pulled back. She was about to punch him in the gut when his ability suddenly activated.
He could see the entire thing at a slightly slower speed since Mia had been too quick. But that was enough for him to roll sideways and prevent getting hit.
"Well, that confirms you are real." Moving twice as fast as before, Mia hugged Zack and pulled him close.
The black-haired boy couldn't do anything except let his sister crush him tightly. Eva's eyes wandered over the other three and signaled for them to co outside.
Her look clearly said "You better start talking the mont we get out" which was enough to make the three of them move out and left so ti for Zack and Mia.
As soon as the door closed, Mia raised her hands to Zack's face and pulled his cheeks. After finding out that he was really in front of her did Mia sigh in relief.
"I didn't know Gugnir had that powerful of an ability," Mia muttered while stepping back.
Now it was Zack's turn to go "wait a damn minute" as he stared at Mia.
"Don't give that look. I already know that you fought those giant eyeballs as well as that winged man who looked as though he was roleplaying as a cheap character."
"After all, I am immune to shocks now…" Zack muttered as he heard Mia chuckle. For so reason, sothing about his sister felt different but that was expected.
People changed after their brother mysteriously disappeared for six months.
"I had visions in the form of dreams and I could see the entire thing happening from a third person perspective. It was weird, to say the least." The surprise and shock Mia had a few minutes ago completely vanished.
Zack wondered whether his little sister had sohow managed to gain the ability to fake emotions or sothing since the sudden change was unrealistic.
"Ching! You are correct," Mia's said in a ga announcer's tone. "Poker face and Oscar face are two of my skills which, as the nas suggest, help in completely hiding my emotions or using them fully. Though I must have the feeling inside to use Oscar face."
"So you were happy to see ?"
"What do you take for? A rude stuck step-sister from a cheaply made porn?" Mia asked while raising her eyebrows, thus turning back to her old self.
This brought a smile to Zack's face as he shook his head.
"What else did you see?"
"Flas, lots of blue flas which ans that you are going to be burning sothing down soon. Also, I saw an old monk turn into a mid-twenties guy but I have no idea who he was or what he was even supposed to do."
"Well, I know who he is," Zack replied as he imagined Neji shifting into his original form as Ken.
Now all he needed to do was to change his na.
Zack decided to talk with him later on but first, he needed to make a few things clear with Mia.
"Anything else?"
"Just one thing and it was related to Emma," Mia looked around as though thinking that Emma would suddenly pop out. "I saw her wielding the bow in real life."
"That's not surprising considering how I can use my weapons here," Zack replied with a shrug though Mia still felt uneasy.
"Zack, do you know why I have these visions or whatever they are?" Mia finally decided to ask as Zack helplessly shook his head.
"I had visions and I have no idea why. Maybe it has sothing to do with this." He then summoned Gugnir and held it in front of him.
Mia stared at its surface but when she went forward to touch it, a force field knocked her hand back.
Both of them then sighed as Zack put Gugnir back.
"Mia, did Kevin try to do anything?"
"He did," Mia paused while looking at Zack's sowhat murderous look. "And I broke his right arm for it."
"With your speed, I'm not sure whether you just broke his arm or tore it off." Zack snorted as Mia rolled her eyes.
"I forgot to ntion but the world has gone through so major changes, including earthquakes between 5~7 magnitude once a month followed by tsunamis and storms for a month.
Guilds have taken over the entire world and so solo powers have risen too. What's left of the world governnt is baiting people with money or similar things.
Also, Eva and I are now queens of the Solanski family and rule the entire underworld of Arica."
Just when Zack had thought that he would get used to shocks, he was hit by one.
"How?" He asked with a slightly open mouth as Mia shrugged.
"All it took was beating a few hundred thousand ard to the core soldiers and we won though I did most of the things. Eva is the brain, where I too support, but I mostly handle the brawl and fighting."
Mia finished as Zack started rubbing his temples. It was clear that his sister was definitely different and he too would need to stay a bit alert to not get taken by surprise.
"Let's just go and see what the quartet is talking about." He sighed before opening the door and moving out.
Mia followed him before latching on to his right arm.
"It's good to have you back Zack. I missed you." She said sincerely as Zack just nodded.
He had no words to speak.
