The gray fog hung like a thick, leaden cloud, pressing down on every inch of the Suspended Mountain Secret Realm.

Visibility was under five ters.

For most Trial Takers, this oppressive environnt was a nightmare, a ti to do nothing but hunker down in a safe house and pray.

After all, the Spirit Bodies that flickered in and out of sight within the mist, letting out chilling whimpers, were no laughing matter.

But at this mont, a pitch-black figure, like a giant ghost bat, silently sliced through the dead stillness.

Han Feng wasn’t flying too high.

He stayed close to the undulating surface of the Floating Island’s rock formations, maintaining an altitude of about thirty ters.

This altitude was a delicate balance—low enough to avoid the keen noses of beasts on the ground, yet not so high as to beco a target for aerial predators.

’Is this the joy of a hundred-ter Divine Sense?’

A hint of a smile touched Han Feng’s lips beneath his faceplate.

Within his perceptive field, the once chaotic and indistinct world beca as clear as a precision 3D model.

Forty-five degrees to his front-left, sixty ters away, a blurry Energy Body was drifting about.

It was a Tier Two Early Stage Resentful Spirit, aimlessly searching for the scent of the living.

Before his Foundation Establishnt Empowernt, Han Feng would have most likely chosen to detour around it, or would have had to activate his Spiritual Vision just to barely perceive its presence.

But now...

He didn’t even spare the Resentful Spirit a glance. The Wingsuit on his back made a slight adjustnt, and he carved a silky-smooth S-curve through the air, nonchalantly slipping past the creature’s perceptive blind spot.

The feeling was just like a max-level character returning to the starting zone.

He didn’t even need to act; the sheer sense of calm, of having everything under control, was addictive enough.

’G-09 Floating Island should be just ahead.’

Han Feng pulled up his offline map to check.

According to the data he’d scavenged from the backpack of that unlucky mber of the Blazing Fire rcenary Corps, G-09 Island was not a popular hunting ground.

The reason was simple: the terrain was rugged, mostly hard granite, with sparse vegetation and almost no valuable Spirit dicines.

But for the Han Feng of today, it was a perfect "shopping spot."

Because there was an associated Spirit Ore deposit here.

’It’s just a minor vein, and mostly produces basic Tier Two and Tier Three ores, but you can’t argue with the sheer quantity.’

Han Feng licked his dry lips.

His current goal was clear: get money.

Anything that could be exchanged for Spirit Coins, he wanted.

「A few minutes later.」

Han Feng’s figure ca to a sudden halt before drifting down as lightly as a falling leaf, landing on a protruding boulder.

He had arrived.

The scene before him was more or less as the map described.

Grayish-brown rock was exposed everywhere, and the ground was dotted with craters large and small.

A faint sll of sulfur, the characteristic scent of Spirit Ore, perated the air.

"Hm?"

Han Feng’s Divine Sense unfurled like an invisible net, instantly blanketing the surrounding hundred-ter area.

The next second, he raised an eyebrow.

’Looks like I’m not the only one interested in this place. It’s just that the other interested party isn’t human.’

Within his Divine Sense’s Perception, about twenty ters beneath the seemingly calm rubble at his feet, lay a massive, blazing mass of Life Energy.

The energy signature was incredibly dense, like a red-hot iron plate.

Tier Two Peak, a Drilling Armored Dragon.

Although this Demon Beast had "Dragon" in its na, it was actually just a type of giant, mutated Pangolin.

It had a tough hide and thick flesh, giving it astonishing Defense Power, and it was especially skilled at burrowing.

If it sensed danger, it would just dive underground, leaving even a ridian Passage Realm Late Stage Martial Artist wielding a Divine Weapon to stare helplessly.

’No wonder this place is so remote, yet the ore vein has never been fully depleted.’

Han Feng looked at the rubble-strewn ground, lost in thought.

He figured plenty of people had tried to claim this ore vein before, only to be "convinced" to leave by this big fella.

After all, fighting a tank that could disappear into the ground at any mont was just asking for a world of hurt.

’Back then, I really would have been helpless against you.’

Han Feng drew the "Sand Python" large-caliber handgun from his waist. He expertly ejected the magazine and loaded the single Tier Two Spiritual Energy Armor-Piercing Bullet he had already refined using Sacrificial Refining with his Sword Essence.

’But now...’

CLICK.

The round was chambered.

Han Feng didn’t aim the muzzle toward the Demon Beast’s location. Instead, he pointed it with extre nonchalance toward a fissure in the ground beside him.

The angle looked bizarre. Anyone else watching would have thought he was just firing randomly.

But in Han Feng’s Divine Sense model, this was a "death corridor" calculated through countless simulations.

’Sleeping soundly, are we?’

Han Feng closed his eyes, and his Divine Sense instantly locked onto the snoring Energy Body deep underground.

It was curled into a ball, its hard dorsal armor facing outward, completely protecting its soft underbelly.

It was pure animal instinct, maintaining a state of absolute defense even in deep sleep.

The only weakness was the slight gap in its lower jaw, which it kept open to breathe.

The gap was less than two centiters wide.

And it was through twenty ters of rock and soil.

For any sniper, this would be an impossible mission.

But for Han Feng, who had mastered the Sword Control Technique, this was rely a sowhat difficult geotry problem.

’Off you go.’

BANG!

A burst of ethereal blue fla erupted from the muzzle.

The mont the bullet left the barrel, it didn’t produce an air-tearing shriek. Instead, as if wrapped in an invisible film, it slid silently into the fissure in the rock.
