The elders were struck by another blow.

Lu Rui quickly soothed her, “I was wrong, Mom, please don’t be angry.”
The matriarch was still very upset.
It was such blindness, the whole family had been blind.
The cascading shocks left the elders distressed, unable to eat even their dinner.
Concerned for the elders’ health, Lu Rui’s family decided to stay at the old house to take care of them.

The matriarch, worried, decided to check on him.
