Chapter 192: Chapter 192: You’re Professor Qiao? Are You Kidding ?
Qiao Yun wore a short, white dress and had her hair in a bun, her delicate and fair face made her look like a little princess.
This was a look that Lu Zhanxing had specially designed for Qiao Yun; it seed he had taken a liking to dressing up his sister.
Qiao Yun didn’t have much concept of what to wear; if Lu Zhanxing liked to fuss over it, she just went along with it.
Li Hanzhou watched for a while, and the smile in his eyes grew deeper.
“I’m here to find soone,” Qiao Yun answered Shen Qi’s question before following him into the elevator.
The elevator doors slowly closed.
Shen Qi was puzzled—who was she here to find? Could she find anyone who would co all the way here?
Hadn’t the Lu family’s sister just returned from the countryside? How could she know any important figures?
“Lu family sister, you must have gotten into the wrong elevator, right? This elevator goes to the top floor.”
Shen Qi and Li Hanzhou hadn’t attended the charity event earlier; they had co directly from the parking lot, preparing to visit Mr. Qi.
They were all part of the sa social circles, more or less connected through familial relationships.
As for why Li Hanzhou, who usually didn’t care about these social interactions, had co to Hai City, Shen Qi was also quite puzzled.
“No mistake, I am going to the top floor,” Qiao Yun said, standing in front of Li Hanzhou, fixing her eyes on the ascending numbers.
Shen Qi was stunned for a mont. “What are you doing on the top floor?”
“Finding soone,” Qiao Yun glanced at Shen Qi with a look that said, ‘you’re so dumb,’ as she had clearly just ntioned it.
“No.” Shen Qi asked her, “Do you know who’s up there?”
“I know.”
“You know and you still dare to go?” Shen Qi thought Lu family’s sister was perhaps too bold, “You better hurry back down. Be careful not to offend the Qi Family’s people, or your own family might suffer.”
Qiao Yun gave him a bland look and didn’t respond; she had no intention of answering foolish questions.
Shen Qi: ??
He felt as if he was being looked down upon for no reason.
Shen Qi had only seen Qiao Yun a few tis, and each ti, Li Hanzhou was there, plus the last ti with Li Hanzhou’s ambiguous ‘quite like her.’ That’s why Shen Qi, seeing Qiao Yun fearlessly heading to the top floor, felt compelled to advise her.
Seeing that the person concerned wasn’t listening, he could only make eye contact with Li Hanzhou.
What’s going on, weren’t you quite fond of Lu family’s sister? Why aren’t you stopping her?
Li Hanzhou didn’t pay attention to Shen Qi, who was almost freaking out; he was more concerned about sothing else: “Who did you co with?”
Qiao Yun looked at him with her clear black and white eyes, calmly stating, “My second brother.”
Li Hanzhou smiled and said nothing more, standing tall and long-legged behind Qiao Yun, as if enveloping her in his embrace.
Shen Qi: “…” Am I feeling a bit superfluous?
The elevator doors opened, and Qiao Yun walked straight out.
Shen Qi still wanted to say a few words but then ran straight into Qi Lu. He imdiately raised his hand to greet him: “Young Master Qi.”
There were five grandsons in the Qi family; Qi Lu was the eldest, so everyone referred to him as Young Master Qi.
Seeing Qiao Yun, Qi Lu’s eyes brightened, and he respectfully greeted, “Professor Qiao.”
“Professor Qiao is here, too!”
Shen Qi looked around excitedly; the Professor Qiao he had been thinking about—it was unexpected to et him here.
“Where is he? Hurry and take to him!”
Qi Lu weirdly said, “Young Master Shen, you’re kind of overacting, weren’t you the one who ca up with Professor Qiao?”
“???” Shen Qi was bewildered, “When did I co up with Professor Qiao?”
“It was you who ca with ,” Qiao Yun told Shen Qi, her gaze inadvertently flicking to Li Hanzhou.
He just raised an eyebrow, but his expression didn’t change much.
Qiao Yun couldn’t tell what he was thinking.
Shen Qi understood, yet it was as if he didn’t.
After quite a while, he finally exclaid, “You’re Professor Qiao? You’re kidding , right?”
