He spoke with an air of condescension. “Since you don’t like , I won’t burden myself with the responsibilities of a husband after marriage. We can live separately, but you’ll still have to perform the duties of a wife.”
Nolan actually found it a relief that Han Wang didn’t like him. If she beca clingy after marriage, it would interfere with his personal affairs.

Han Wang let out a scoff, suddenly raised her leg, and kicked Nolan hard.
Nolan never saw it coming. Caught entirely off guard, he let out a howl, clutching his lower body as his face twisted in pain.
Han Wang said coldly, “If you want to marry , get ready for a lifeti of beatings. Otherwise, I suggest you abandon the idea of marrying altogether.”
She shot a contemptuous glance at the man before her—a man full of rage, unable to curse at her only because of the excruciating pain—and swept away confidently, her coat fluttering as she went.
Han Wang suddenly realized, compared to Nolan, Pei Ya was ridiculously adorable.
If she had to marry soone, she’d much rather it be Pei Ya.
