One of the servants nad Eun Hee entered Jo Yeon Ho's room because she promised to read a new story to him earlier. She was the caregiver who often accompanied Jo Yeon Ho to sleep.
"Yeon Ho, where are you?" Eun Hee said as she knocked on the bathroom door but the door was not locked.
The bed was also still neat like when she tidied it this afternoon. Eun Hee decided to leave the room. Maybe Jo Yeon Ho was watching television downstairs with her grandmother. She didn't notice when she passed the living room whether Jo Yeon Ho was there or not.
As soon as Eun Hee got downstairs she checked the living room until there was no one in the family room, so Eun Hee kept looking for him to the kitchen. She also asked other servants for help in looking for Jo Yeon Ho. After half an hour of searching the child was still missing, so Eun Hee was very scared.
If she had not gone to her room first she would have known the whereabouts of her foster children.
"Eun Hee, what's wrong?" Mrs. Park asked. She had just descended the stairs going to the kitchen to get drinking water because she felt her throat was dry.
"Mada, little master… little master disappeared," Eun Hee said, stamring her trembling body. She was currently really scared.
"What do you an Yeon Ho disappeared?" Mrs. Park asked, widened her eyes.
"The little master is not in his room. I've also checked all corners of this house but he could not be found," Eun Hee said while looking down. She was afraid if the child she was caring for was not found.
"Have you correctly looked for Jo Yeon Ho in his room? Usually he never goes anywhere," Mrs. Park said.
"That's right, Mada. I and other servants have been looking for him," Eun Hee said. She can only surrender if she will soon be fired.
Mrs. Park imdiately climbed the stairs leading to Dae Hyun's room. She imdiately knocked on the door to imdiately tell this because they both seed not to know it.
"Aeri, wake up," Mrs. Park called while continuing to knock on the door.
Hearing her mother-in-law calling from outside, Aeri imdiately got up from her seat which was still on the floor. Hurriedly she changed her clothes that were more closed. She walked through the scattered glass fragnts. Her injured hand still had dried blood stains on it.
"What's the matter, Mom?" Aeri asked as she closed the door tightly. She did not want her mother-in-law to see the condition of her room, which was very ssy.
"Where is Dae Hyun? Tell him that Yeon Ho is not in his room," Mrs. Park said.
"What's wrong with Yeon Ho, Mom?" Dae Hyun, who heard his mother's voice, ca out of his study.
"Yeon Ho disappeared. Quickly find him right now," Mrs. Park said.
"Wasn't he in his room earlier?" Dae Hyun massaged his head. Without listening to his mother's answer, Dae Hyun imdiately checked Jo Yeon Ho's whereabouts in his room. It turned out to be empty, which made Dae Hyun panic.
Dae Hyun imdiately descended the stairs followed by the others. He ordered all the servants and guards to gather. He wanted everyone to find where Jo Yeon Ho was. As a father he was worried that sothing might happen to his son.
Everyone in the house went back to every corner of the room until the courtyard was dark. The servants searched for Jo Yeon Ho using a flashlight as light. Maybe he was in a dark place but still nothing.
"Yeon Ho, where are you?" Dae Hyun said who rubbed his face irritably. Even though after dinner the boy returned to his room why now he suddenly disappeared.
Dae Hyun forgot to check the CCTV so he rushed to the security room. He checked the footage that occurred so ti ago in several rooms because not all corners of the house had CCTV installed.
Dae Hyun's eyes were on the tape a while ago. A little boy ran down the stairs then silently entered the guest room. It was right after they finished dinner and when he was fighting with Aeri.
"Did Yeon Ho listen to our fight earlier?" Dae Hyun muttered while massaging his temples. Although he was relieved to know his son's whereabouts, Dae Hyun felt weak. Hopefully the kid didn't listen to their conversation last night.
A child as young as Jo Yeon Ho didn't deserve to know the problems that occur between them. During this ti Dae Hyun tried to cover everything from Jo Yeon Ho. All this ti, Dae Hyun tried to survive because he didn't want to hurt his son.
After finishing checking cctv, Dae Hyun rushed outside wanting to imdiately check the guest room. He stood for a long ti in front of the door, but he imdiately discouraged knocking for fear of disturbing his little wife's sleep. The most important thing was now that he knew that Jo Yeon Ho was already in and he was fine.
Dae Hyun finally chose to leave the guest room. He stepped into the living room where everyone was gathered.
"Jo Yeon Ho has been found. Now go back to rest to our respective rooms," Dae Hyun said to all the servants who had co looking for his son.
"Where's Jo Yeon Ho?" Aeri said. She did not act as if nothing had happened between them.
"Don't bother him because he's asleep," Dae Hyun said in a flat tone.
"Dae Hyun, where is my grandson?" Mrs. Park asked who was also very worried.
"Don't worry, Mom. He's fine, now go back to sleep to our respective rooms," Dae Hyun said who then climbed the stairs.
"Hyeong, we haven't even seen him yet," Park Soo Hyun said, half screaming. He was annoyed by his brother who looked relaxed even though his son had not been found.
"Didn't I tell you he's all right?" Dae Hyun stopped his steps up the stairs. He turned around briefly before continuing his steps again.
"Mother, look at Brother who doesn't care about Yeon Ho," Park Soo Hyun said with his hands on his hips.
"Yeon Ho may have really been found. Let's just sleep," Mrs. Park said while holding Aeri's hand.
Park Soo Hyun chose to return to his room, snorting irritably with his relaxed-looking brother.
"Awhhh!" Aeri shrieked as her injured hand was gripped firmly by Mrs. Park.
"Aeri, what happened to your hand?" Mrs. Park asked who realized Aeri's hand was injured. The wound was bleeding again because of Mrs. Park accidentally squeezed it hard enough.
"It's okay, Mom," Aeri said as she hid her hand.
"Let mother treat it."
"No, Mom. Let treat it myself. You better rest." Aeri didn't want her mother to know about the argunt.
Finally Mrs. Park agreed to go to her room because it was late at night.
All of them finally returned to their respective rooms even though they didn't know where Jo Yeon Ho was.
===============================
After hearing his parents quarrel, Jo Yeon Ho secretly turned the knob of the door of the room occupied by Soo Yin, which was not locked. He needed soone's help to calm down because he heard the dispute between his father and mother.
He was about to wake Soo Yin but was afraid to disturb her so he chose to lie curled up beside Soo Yin. Didn't know what the boy was thinking right now. He kept sobbing silently until his eyes felt sleepy for a long ti.
Since entering the room, Soo Yin listened to music using earphones because she wanted to sleep well and no one disturbed her. She did not realize that soone was sleeping beside her.
When Soo Yin stretched out her hands then she realized. Soo Yin imdiately woke up to see who was on her side.
"Yeon Ho?" Soo Yin said as she removed the earphones from her ears. She supported herself with her hands to sit up.
Jo Yeon Ho slept curled up, his hands squeezed between his legs. The boy looked cold because the weather was bad outside. Soo Yin imdiately removed the blanket covering her body then shifted it to Jo Yeon Ho's body.
Soo Yin stretched out her hand to caress that adorable little face. His face was so peaceful when he fell asleep. With tiny lips that were pink. His eyebrows occasionally appear wrinkled. Didn't know what the boy was dreaming about.
Jo Yeon Ho blinked when he realized that a large hand was tracing his skin. He opened his eyes which were shining so bright.
"Sorry, I woke you up," Soo Yin said. She took her hand away from Jo Yeon Ho's face.
Jo Yeon Ho shook his head lightly with sad eyes. There was sadness in those clear eyes.
"Why can you sleep here? Did sothing happen?" Soo Yin asked while frowning.
Jo Yeon Ho sat while hugging a bolster pillow. He looked at Soo Yin with teary eyes.
